With Mullvad VPN, your traffic travels through an encrypted tunnel to one of our VPN servers and then onward to the website you are visiting. TELEMETRY AND CRASH REPORTS
The app collects a very minimal amount of telemetry, and it does not in any way tie it to an account number, IP or other identifiable information. Account numbers are used for authentication. App logs are never sent  automatically but are rather explicitly sent by the user. App version checks are performed every 24 hours to tell the app if there are any upgrades available and if the currently running version is still supported.

Keine Überflüssigen Funktionen, die Das bedienen oder Konfigurieren kompliziert Machen aber alle wichtigen Funktionen vorhanden.
Und die Möglichkeit automatisch die besten Einstellung zu wählen. Also auch für Anfänger der perfekte VPN.

… leider immer häufiger recht langsam. Seit einem (?) Update werden eMails von verschiedenen Konten nicht mehr abgerufen. Disconnect - neuer Serverstandort - connect, sonst kommen die Mails nicht an. Und der Preis… 5,00€ pro Monat für 5 Geräte ist im Vergleich schon teuer.
Was allerdings super ist, ist die Anonymität. Kein Konto, keine eMail-Adresse, Zahlung sogar per Bargeld.

Hands down the best vpn on the market. My boys were raided by swedish police and and just brushed it off. They dont log your activity, dont sell your data, all data on the servers is stored on RAM, not on hard drives. Its cheap, reliable, secure, fast, has WORKING DNS blockers, ability to use up to 5 devices simultaneously, has DAITA (network noise that hides what websites your visiting) and just based as hell. You should buy the yearly subscription NOW and give a piece of that money to someone who actually needs it (the devs)

Great VPN, best possibly, no question. But the fact that I can’t add trusted networks so that the VPN autoconnects when I am connecting to any other network is a security risk and annoyance. I don’t always manually think about connecting and when it’s always on I forget to turn it off in my home WiFi. The other issue is that it also connects when I am only using mobile cellular connection and I don’t want that. Also need to turn it off manually.

Löschen der App und Neuanmeldung sowie etwas Zeit (ein Tag) hat den Akkuverbrauch normalisiert. Kundenservice freundlich und lösungsorientiert. 

Bin froh, dass ich dieses ehrliche und tatsächlich sichere VPN nun nutzen kann.

Lasst euch nicht von der 2 Jahre alten und immer noch als „nützlichste“ markierten Rezension beirren. Trackingblocker, Adblocker, custom DNs… alles an Bord. Bisher hatte ich auch keine Probleme mit Einwahldauer oder Geschwindigkeit. Alles super, das beste Underdog-VPN!

mittlerweile. Man kann dem Akku wirklich beim Herunterzählen zusehen. Andere Anbieter mit dem gleichen Protokoll haben diese Probleme nicht, es muss also an der App selbst liegen.

Auch sonst hat sich in letzter Zeit einiges verschlechtert. Die Pingzeiten gehen abends oft extrem hoch, es gibt kein manuelles Schlüsselmanagement mehr in der App, tatsächlich kann man nicht einmal mehr sehen, wie alt der aktuelle Schlüssel ist. Die App bekommt nur sehr sporadisch Updates und unterstützt weiterhin diverse Features des Desktop-Clients nicht (bspw. kein Multihop).

Leider gibt es im gleichen Preissegment keine gleichwertig vertrauenswürdigen Alternativen zu Mullvad.

Habe mein Abo jetzt nach 1,5 Jahren beendet. Leider seit längerem viele Probleme: App verbindet zwar zu Server, aber keine Seite lädt mehr. Serverwechsel ändert daran meist nichts. Erst nach dem Disconnecten geht es wieder - ohne VPN. Schade, aber schaue mich nun nach einer Alternative um.
