The game itself is fun and engaging. The multitude of ad breaks takes a lot away from it. The fact that it would cost $30 to forever remove the ads is a bit much. I get it. Development costs money. But really only being able to play two minutes tops without an ad really gets tiresome. On the whole it’s a 4-5 star game but with a 3 star rating because of the sheer exasperation of dealing with ad breaks. Maybe lower the cost of an ad free gaming experience and I will give a better review. The ads (both required/heavily suggested) are making this a miserable experience. I understand that they’re there for a legit reason and that they make the game possible for free players, but lately I can’t even close them when they’re done! That means I lose all progress made on a raid. Which means I can’t level up necessary items, which means I can’t advance without multiple restarts. That’s not cool. If we’re obliged to watch ads for games we don’t want (looking straight at you, Block Blast), we should at least be able to close them once they’re finished.
