You can use it in individual lessons, home study, or in group classes with the built-in games or with games led by you. Because you know how you want to teach or how your students learn best, you can tailor the app to exactly what you want: • You define the notes on the grand staff that you want your student to drill. • You decide if the application should test or teach. • You decide how many cards to drill, how long to test, and how quickly students must answer. • You decide whether to drill in letter names, solfège, piano keyboard, and several other options. • You can review the incorrect notes and save them for student drilling. Music Flash Class is designed for use with all ages: • You can lock the device’s orientation to accommodate each student’s way of holding the device. • You can discourage accidental disruption of the games by 'locking' buttons that would normally exit the play. • You can use built in games or design challenges for your students. "I love the app....my students are competing against each other for time and decks completed without error!!!" - Penny L., professional piano teacher "This app has become a favorite backseat activity in my van. My kids love playing 'Hot Potato' with it." Jodi M., parent of two piano students Uses of Music Flash Class: • Effortlessly pull up and drill whatever deck of notes you want during your lessons. • Students who are waiting for their lesson can practice or test their note recognition skills. • Practice on your own, focusing on notes that have been difficult to learn. • Assign drilling exercises to those students who have access to an iPod Touch or iPhone. • Use in group classes for group drilling or games. • Design challenges that students can compete to attain. ## Music Flash Class Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/c5/fb/39/c5fb39c6-ee52-478f-97ff-6cafc7c83b8b/pr_source.png/960x600.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/42/37/dd/4237dd1c-733a-ef12-3b0b-b77a604b4371/pr_source.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/ab/7a/35/ab7a353d-9dd6-f266-cc6c-da6b183c2b1d/pr_source.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/16/82/0f/16820f66-1c12-9f4b-b40e-1b33877f25ae/pr_source.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/60/c4/aa/60c4aaa9-8d1b-39d5-10cb-b9b2320fc2ef/pr_source.png/640x920.png) ## Music Flash Class Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 9 (90%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 1 (10%) ## Music Flash Class Reviews in United States ### ***** "Love it" Great app. It improves my skills, also deleted comment I made 2y cause my nine year old self hated it for no reason. But it’s great -- angel airadle terrier, 2022-09-22 ### ***** "Outstanding app, great update" Outstanding app that has turned note drilling into an activity my students actually request! The hot potato mode is a class favorite and the app's customizability makes it superior to any alternatives I have found on the App Store. I appreciate the developer's responsiveness, and am very happy to see an update featuring full iOS 8 and native iPad compatibility. -- devkon, 2014-12-11 ### ***** "Needs updates" Please update the app. It does not work as it used to be. -- Audi Kia, 2014-10-20 ### ***** "So good!" I've had this app for a year I think? I use it to help my son (6) learn notes for his piano practice. I am continually amazed by how customizable this app is -- I can choose exactly what we want to work on. It also truly helps him learn notes and read music faster. I notice a difference in reading music 'cold' vs after a quick run through on the app. Also it's great that the app never crashes or gets bogged down (on iPod touch). I highly recommend! -- Ela3t, 2014-01-23 ### ***** "Terrific app" I am an adult beginner and this app is awesome. Don't be put off by the cerebral interface. You will be up and running in no time. Extremely versatile and customizable. My nine year old grandson already whips me at Hot Potato and his six year old brother begs to play so we have created a game version with only three notes. It patiently drills me on the basic C position notes which is good because they are picking up this stuff faster than I am. One look at the screenshots will tell you that MFC will keep me busy for a long time to come. -- rockymtncanary, 2012-09-03 ### ***** "Perfect learning tool" Does a great job at helping students learn the notes on a staff. -- Bbott, 2012-08-13 ### ***** "Music Flash Class- review" it's great, and usable for many levels of instruction! -- Dr. Beverly, 2012-03-22 ### ***** "Great app!" I use this with every piano lesson I teach and have gotten most of my students to purchase it to use at home. Those who do have it to use at home have significantly improved their note-reading, usually in no time at all! I highly recommend it and would love for an iPad version to be developed! -- Jmd0211, 2011-09-16 ### ***** "Piano students LOVE this one!" This app was actually a major factor in my decision to purchase an iPhone! Used it last month on my daughter's iTouch for a Piano Performance Class, and the kids just LOVED the "Hot Potato" game. Easy to use, very flexible in drilling specific sets of notes. -- Fagan Piano Studio, 2011-02-27 ### ****- "Great app!!" What I love about this app is that I can choose the specific notes to be drilled on, rather than just a range, and that it can drill on a grand (piano) staff. I'm very quick at recognizing the notes on the staff itself but I'm trying to improve my reading of ledger lines notes. I really wish the app was capable of drilling on 5 or 6 or 7 ledger lines though -- as it is now, it only goes up to three (above/below). Aside from my one complaint, it's obvious that a lot of thought went into the creation of this app. -- Ear Sharpener, 2011-02-01 [View all Music Flash Class reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Music Flash Class Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Singapore | Music | #215 | | Top Paid | New Zealand | Music | #247 | ## Music Flash Class Discovered Keywords - music flash class - keysignaturesz ## Apps Similar to Music Flash Class - [Rhythm Sight Reading Trainer](https://apptail.io/app/rhythm-sight-reading-trainer-NP/united-states) - [Note Quest: Learn Piano Music](https://apptail.io/app/note-quest-learn-piano-music-KGk/united-states) - [Tenuto](https://apptail.io/app/tenuto-XyG/united-states) - [Blue Note Music Flash Cards](https://apptail.io/app/blue-note-music-flash-cards-NKzc/united-states) - [Note Flash Music Sight Reading](https://apptail.io/app/note-flash-music-sight-reading-vuIc/united-states) - [Note Rush: Music Reading Game](https://apptail.io/app/note-rush-music-reading-game-CuIc/united-states) - [SuperMetronome Groovebox Pro](https://apptail.io/app/supermetronome-groovebox-pro-gibe/united-states) - [Super Metronome GrooveBox Lite](https://apptail.io/app/super-metronome-groovebox-lite-SVje/united-states) - [Rhythm Lab](https://apptail.io/app/rhythm-lab-Ildl/united-states) - [SuperScore Music](https://apptail.io/app/superscore-music-Xldl/united-states) ## Music Flash Class Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/canada) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/singapore) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/united-kingdom) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/japan) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/colombia) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/egypt) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/indonesia) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/india) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/united-arab-emirates) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/kuwait) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/nigeria) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/nepal) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/new-zealand) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/russia) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/taiwan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/south-korea) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/argentina) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/brazil) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/switzerland) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/music-flash-class-fNMe/china) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
