I used this before I upgraded to iPhone X a few years back and it worked fine. Now it still works but the display shows the audio moved over slightly to the right by three quarters of a measure. I paid for the full version and tried reinstalling it but it had the same issues.
I use this as a live performance instrument in a concert band and it performs as all the tuned percussion (xylophone, glockenspiel, vibraphone, bells, etc.) Unlike all the other keyboard apps I've used, there is no latency so it's perfect for live performance and the samples are extremely realistic. I find the audience looking around to see where all the instruments are! Just one thing that’s a little annoying. I sometimes use an external gizmo to send the MIDI to drive the app, and it doesn’t respond to Program Change messages so I can’t use MIDI to select the instrument. Not a problem for many people I realise, but a pain for me! Still brilliant though.
Came across this app way back in 2010. It helped me a lot in my early years of music production when I didn’t have a laptop or DAW available. Now re-downloading it in 2022 because life has changed a little bit and I’m always on the go/not always with my laptop. So looking forward to getting inspired again & producing on the go!

Why does the E5 key give so much feedback when using piano? It kinda makes it sound more screechy and echoey please fix it

I’ve used music studio since it’s earliest versions, and have despaired the last few years as no real updates or the promised version 3 have materialised. Unfortunately it is now unusable as it glitches regularly during audio recording and playback too, even with all other apps stopped. This means audio recordings drop out during a glitch, and the playback skips or pauses. Do yourself a favour and get a different DAW as this one is now no longer viable.
Everything you might need has to be paid for on top of the initial payment. Absolute con.
Great app, never had a problem. But after the last update i’ve noticed a few effects have disappeared! The slider doesn’t show them all, please fix!
This is an excellent app that gives you a complete multitrack system. Adding the sound bundle pack gives you a much more powerful and versatile platform than Garageband.
