MusicLife FAQ
Is MusicLife free?
Yes, MusicLife is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is MusicLife legit?
⚠️ The MusicLife app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Well organized app, but it is time for working out the issues. Each time when I choose playing using ST60, I can not play single track. Need to start playing by Play list. Then sometimes it works. Please, this is a great opportunity for software developers to finally release a well working app, since Tidal Connect on ST60 does not stream full MQA ! Thank you
Arcam fan
Search doesn’t work.
I can’t use search option in the app :( rest of it works fine I have iOS 14.6
Still space to improve
Missing shortcut to quickly return to Home Screen. Present album status is not copied when change devices during playback. When returning to albums list it doesn’t show which album plays now and it needs to look on album pics to find it. It doesn’t propose similar tracks after completion of playback (like in tidal app). Lack of app for Apple Watch (eg in BluOS).
Dont work…
Settings dont respons. You can choose any setings. App always play last song and start in now.
Better than songbook, but...
First of all I'd like to say that I like new, lighter, interface, but there are few things that need to be improved. Most important thing that should be fixed is that app is loading library data every time you want to use it. It's really annoying and time consuming. You could add a refresh button instead. Second thing that I would be pleased to see is some sort of search engine that would allow to seek songs. Also cover arts are not showing as they should. It also lacks samba support. Frankly you could take a closer look at the Oppo MediaControl which is best app in the market, maybe it would inspire you to create better working application. In conclusion I'd like to say that I like what you are doing, I love idea of being able to add songs to queue, but there is still room for improvement.
Very Limited Features
I bought the SACD player and found it also had streaming features; which was initially exciting. I was new to this and had been using a friends Denon setup with HEOS. HEOS is only ok but is still far superior to Music Life. I tried to use the App to read files from a plugged in drive (something that is very useful with HEOS) to save exploring with the small screen but failed. I contacted HK to be told that this is not available. The Drive must be connected to a network for the App to play the files.
The App is flakey as connections will suddenly be lost for no particular reason.
The App could be (and should be considering the quality kit that HK produce) brilliant but is currently disappointing that might not reflect too good.
Dreadful.
This app is beyond a joke. I just spent a LOT of money on an Arcam Radia amp and streamer and this app ruins the experience of two excellent products. The app needs to be scrapped and replaced with a new one that's fit for purpose in both design and function, which this app is certainly not.
Utterly Useless
Frequent issues and bugs experienced resulting in not being able to listen to music. I won’t be buying another Arcam product.
Disappointed
Using the Arcam ST60 to stream from Amazon Music. Internet speed is 70 Mb/s.The radio stations are slow to load. Using the app to stream albums from the net is all but useless. Music intermittently drops out and the first track on a newly streamed album skips from track 1 to to track 2 after 15-30 seconds. The help line for this app simply advised to use a different app!!!
