Apple Music problem
Doesn’t load music when opening Spotify link in Apple Music
If only it allowed transfers in both directions!
If you could have two big buttons for Spotify and Apple Music this would be perfect. At present you have to choose which direction, so back and forth with Spotify friends harder
Good idea, doesn’t work with links in messages
I’ve wanted something like this for years, and yes it works by copy/paste, and in safari, but it doesn’t cover the most common scenario where I wish I could open a music link in my service (Apple music). That’s when Spotify friends send me a song link in messages or WhatsApp. If you press a Spotify link in messages and ‘open in Safari’, it just opens Spotify since I have the app installed, so you never get a chance to use the extension. What would be most useful is for the app to have share sheet actions, but there are none at the moment. Is this possible to add?
Doesn’t work
Not sure if I’m doing it wrong, but every link someone sends me from Apple Music doesn’t open in Spotify. I verified the song exists in Spotify, but for some reason it doesn’t work as I intended
Nice in theory but so far a waste of $ .99
I have an iphone and apple music but not Spotify. I set up my app, including the Safari extension. I tried to share links for music with a friend who has Spotify and it did not work. I can’t copy apple music tracks to my clipboard, and I can’t open the spotify links they send me, whether automatically or through the app. When that didn’t work I emailed customer support and they told me to use the Safari extension. I explained I already was and then they never got back to me.
Buyer Beware!
I guess I can’t be too upset since the app only cost $.99 but, to not transfer one bit of music at all is just lousy. Aside from that the interface is most archaic and asinine ever built. I highly suggest SongShift instead. It works and it’s free.
Elegant + solves a problem
An elegant solution to a common problem. I use Spotify and always have friends sending me Apple Music links. Problem solved. Brilliant interface and really smooth experience. Looking forward to addition of other services. Bravo! 🥁🎸🎼
