### ****- "My favorite music app"
I am using MusicStreamer for more than a year now.

I like the overall look and feel of the app.
I love the compatibility with Apple Carplay, its my number one music player in my car.
I love the wireless connectivity feature to download and stream music directly from my Linux desktop.

What could be improved:
Currently you have the option to sort music by artist, but  the albums are sorted alphabetically. I really would like to have the option to sort albums also by (release-) year.
With that option you have a much better view at your music collection because it is chronologically sorted.
That would make me rate this overall great music app with five stars.

I’ve been using this program for a few years now with my large library of flac files.
I just converted all my flac files to ogg, just to find out that this app doesn’t support ogg files! :(
Also there still is no folder browser, making it a hassle to use with very large libraries.

Using it now for some time. 
It is a very useful app. 
When playing the background and an ad turns up in a game the music stops. 
Would be nice if this could be fixed.

Rescan large library takes too long and stalls when in background! I would like to see options as “sort by last added”, “ watch nas for new songs” and “mass rating” to explore large collection more easy. It used to be my preferred player for my music collection, though Plex does a much better job.

### ****- "Good but not perfect"
The main issue I have with this app is the handling of album covers.
It doesn’t recognize jpg pictures of the album covers that are in the folder containing the album’s song files on my NAS.
It doesn’t store the covers I painstakingly loaded by hand somewhere in the cloud. I had to reinstall this app on the iPad and everything was gone.

Why did I not find this app before? It is exactly what you need to play the songs you have on your NAS, and for example download them to your phone when your going offline. Brilliant for in de car. A bit larger album art would be nice and please an Apple TV app : )

I really love this app. Finally a descent solution to both play and download my music from my nas without any cloud stuff or other privacy concerns. An appletv version would make this app near perfect.

My first review apparantly deleted. Great app, but filter for genre is not working right. Mixed genres in one album are not filtered and shown as one genre.

I already use this app from the start and it is by far the best I encountered. Their support is excellent. I had connection problems after IOS14.5 and it was quickly solved as they always do when I occasionally run in to a problem.

The app is very good, quick and nice layout. Plays almost everything, hi-res audio should be an extra feature in the next update.

What will make it a five ⭐️? It should be also for the Apple tv. That makes it that you don’t have to cast. Just put on the ATV, connect bluetooth headphone and GO!

If you make a ATV version please put in the function “prevent atv to go to sleep” no other app has this on the ATV versions.

By then you will have a perfect audio streamer, better than Plex.

### ***** "Fantastic App, a must have!"
After struggling with apps that could access my Synology NAS I finally found MusicStreamer.

Realy Great. It’s fast, connects in seconds, finds and plays everything on the specified location.

One thing, hou must have your mp3 Collection in perfect order.
The program indexes on the Mp3 tags artist and album artist.
They have to be identical.

App is missing the airplay and chromecast buttons at the top of the screen. So the only reason I purchased this app isn’t available. Money through the drain. No response from developer.

Mooi ap maar hij laadt niet alle muziek die op mijn nas staan, van sommige artiesten laadt hij maar 1 album terwijl er 32 opstaan. Dacht heb nu een ap op mijn iPad vanwaar ik alles muziek kan regelen zowel in de serre als in de woonkamer. Maar nee ik mis gewoon meer als de helft van mijn muziek collectie. Had graag info hier over van hoe dat kan.

an additional addition in the app would be that my blu-ray player from Sony bdp s6700 also gets support from filebrowser. So that I can play my music but also video files via this app to my blu-ray player. Unfortunately, that is not yet possible.
