## MuteSolo Ydiop Description
MuteSolo, takes an unique approach to music streaming playback. Presently, artists upload their
music to a streaming service where consumers can either playback the music online or
download it. We at MuteSolo want to give listeners a better experience and artists more
opportunity to be compensated for the art they create.
For over the last century, a complete finished song is listened to with one audio file. We at
MuteSolo want to provide listeners with a better experience. During the mixing process, by
audio engineers, they mix a song, with multiple tracks, down to one track. We thought, how
would a typical listener feel if they had the capability of controlling which track to be played
during playback.
Instead of uploading one track, what if artists upload several tracks for the same song. Doing
this, we at MuteSolo can then isolate each track by implementing mute and solo buttons. So
during playback, users can remove and reintroduce instruments. This way, they can actually
hear what’s going on in a song. If you want to hear just the drums, click the solo button on the
drum track. If you don’t want to hear the drums, click the mute button.
Please note, because up to eight tracks can be played simultaneously, loading a song to the
audio player can take up to 15 seconds. But the faster your internet connection, the faster
loading is.
