## Muun Wallet Description
Muun is the most powerful wallet for bitcoin and lightning network. It is simple, fast, and secure. We provide the best user experience for sending and receiving bitcoin (BTC).

Muun's highlights include:

- Lightning fast payments: send and receive instant payments using bitcoin's latest tech, lightning network. Lightning is the most popular scaling solution for blockchains and brings great UX benefits such as faster and cheaper payments.

- Seamless lightning integration: make all payments from a single wallet and following the same steps. You can enjoy lightning without needing any specific knowledge.

- Smartest bitcoin fees: Muun's mempool-based estimator gets your transaction confirmed fast without overpaying. Save an average of 30% compared to other wallets.

- Fully self-custodial: Muun is a self-custodial wallet meaning you are in total control of your bitcoin. Nobody, not even Muun, can access your money. Export an Emergency Kit with your private keys and output descriptors, intended to be used in a scenario where Muun is unavailable. The Kit was designed to fit bitcoin's latest scripts, including multisig, lightning and taproot.

- Convenient wallet recovery: access your wallet from a different phone using a code written on paper or your email and password.

- Protected with multi-signature: Muun is a 2-of-2 multi-signature wallet. Your Emergency Kit has both keys, but your phone just one. Your money is safe even if your phone gets hacked or stolen because two keys are needed to spend it, and only one is in your phone.

Other features include:

- Fee selection
- Support for Bech32
- Native app
- Customer support in English and Spanish

## Muun Wallet Reviews in United States

### ***** "Muun Wallet"
Bitcoin and lightning wallet
-- Muun bitcoin, 2026-09-06

### ***** "Wallet Backup Update"
Before you update this wallet it lets you in for a millisecond and then closes down. When you update your wallet you will have a zero balance unless you were smart enough ‘The First’ time to create a backup if not all your funds will be lost.
It’s a ‘great self custody online wallet’ yet they forget to tell you this part.
The developers are quick to solve the issues for you.
I completely rewrote my review to reflect the outcome.
-- i_love_norway, 2026-08-13

### *---- "Bad"
Horrible I put in $33 now I only have 14 after three years
-- Not good!!!123, 2026-07-09

### *---- "Not True Lightning Address"
This app waxes Lightning Network users with very high fees by doing ‘high priority submarine swaps’ which increase the size of the transaction on-chain ( instead of using Lightning Network) and costng the user 10-20 times greater in fees when they could save that by just using the normal on chain network during low traffic to make their transfer.
-- #1312_ACAB, 2026-06-08

### *---- "Mr"
Please fix the bug, I can’t access my money and I don’t have a recovery phase, I just downloaded this wallet and money received in it and now I can’t access the app, please don’t steal my money 🙏
-- Bryant3696, 2026-05-21

c1qkp4035xs0kvh3yhtrvzy07lj29s5tl66ju9q3dycv80y2g7l48wsfcyvrk

-- Yusuf#*=€, 2026-03-12

-- Allison Feliz, 2025-11-19

It’s a pretty cool app tho !
But work on your slow payment issues it’s took whole hour for a transaction to be completed
-- HEALINGS$1B, 2025-10-19

### ***** "Top-notch wallet"
Excellent wallet that never changes and therefore never breaks. Loaded with all the right features and incredibly stable over the years. Highly recommended.
-- srnicol, 2025-10-18

### *---- "I need to see my transactions history"
Why can’t we see the transactions history please it needed
-- Hush1000, 2025-10-10

### *---- "Scam app"
The recovery tool that they presume so much doesn't work my account has 10000 sats to which it won't let me access from the app it throws me an error and I try with the recovery tool it says 0 I don't understand this app is scam
-- Mario0008, 2025-10-10

### **--- "Low service"

-- Riskyuser🧌, 2025-09-03

### *---- "Do not download"
This is a scam. They want to charge $600 to move $10 worth of bitcoin. Stay away.
-- BTC Nerd, 2025-09-02
