Ideal app for xenophobic people and bigots. When you are here to find a Muslim partner, it should end there. The app makes it easy for people to discriminate by asking questions like sect, ethnicity and even the place you grew up and you cannot choose to not answer any of those questions. It was supposed to be an avenue for people to run away from traditional methods of matchmaking but it has proved to be worse.

Muz’s recent changes made to “automatically” unmatch people and to set a 3-5 limit on number of chats is wrong, a violation of a person’s right to freedom, privacy and a person’s right to match with whoever, whenever and for however long. Muz is behaving wrongly like a dictator. Muz should not automatically unmatch people and should not have any limit on the number of chats. Muz is not supporting or encouraging relationships. Please remove the recent changes and undo the damage Muz has done with people’s matches and chats.

This app’s developers have a habit of changing features and their terms after purchases are made. As an app aimed at the Muslim market and presenting a “halal” approach to relationships and marriage, their conduct is anything but halal, and no less than fraudulent. Example- Features such Compliments (previously called Instant Match or Instant Chat) were sold (often 10 credits for $40 or so) on the basis that one can send a message to any member for instant conversation (other party’s acceptance permitting). Apparently that has changed (after a customer purchases said credits) and a very delayed and vague support response (without any further reply despite follow up) says that only gold members can open an instant chat received, even if the sending party has actually paid for it. They add salt to the wound by saying that changing the rules is at the developer’s discretion! Talk about stealing money from paying customers. Same goes for Gold members who expect an instant chat/compliment credit each day (as advertised). It doesn’t work that way. They only credit you a Gold chat if you use up one in the prior 24 hours. No such condition is mentioned when selling it. These subscriptions aren’t cheap and the quality of their product has declined significantly while arrogance as just shot up. Do not pay for subscription.

The developer replies months later to say “sorry to hear, please send us your feedback to an email” tells you everything you need to hear about them. They barely reply to support requests, so don’t expect their response to product issue feedback.
