### ***-- "Not as authentic as it appears"
I used Melissa Wood Health consistently for nearly 9 years and genuinely benefited from the workouts for a long time. However, I eventually became disappointed by what felt like a major disconnect between the brand’s public messaging around authenticity, healing, and community and my direct experience behind the scenes.

Wellness brands ask people to place emotional trust in them, not just financial trust. In my experience, the community aspect felt far more curated and performative than genuine, and it changed how I viewed the platform entirely.

I actually look forward to doing these now. I always disliked exercise and cardio. This is the perfect low impact workout. I feel very muscle in my body working. It’s only been a few weeks but this is the first workout I enjoy doing.

The app constantly logs out and won’t allow you to log back in and their customer service was not helpful in anyway. I love the workouts but unfortunately have had to cancel as the workouts are consistently not accessible.

The app constantly crashes when watching a video and doesn’t save your place from where you were when you go back in. It doesn’t have a calendar to plan your workouts out for the week like other apps do. I like to choose the workout I am doing each day, based on how much time I have that day and my cycle phase. I don’t need an app that picks my week for me. This is just an advertisement for Melissa Wood’s affiliate links to sell workout clothing and supplements. There are other better, fitness apps out there that are client focused and not just trying to sell sell sell. The Glow Method and ALO moves seem to have it figured out. I’m not here to do online shopping. I want to do my class and get on with my day.

### ***** "Mom Review: Realistic Workouts for Consistency that WORK"
They offer different daily recommended workouts that are updated weekly for M-F which I LOVE because I don’t always know what I should be doing/which areas to target. All the workouts are 20ish min which is amazing because as a mom of 2 littles, have barely any time to workout. I usually do these first thing in the morning in my PJs and they are challenging but very doable so it’s motivating to stay consistent. I’ve been doing 5 days/week and for the first time in a long time I see definition in my stomach and arms!

Can’t get through 3 min of a work out with the app crashing. Either the screen going black or just logging me out. Really frustrating because I love these workouts.

I started using MWH consistently and after a month of doing around 20 minutes a day I can see changes in my waist line, arms, legs, and booty!  The results keep me motivated and excited to keep going! I can’t wait to see where I am in 6 months!  If you are looking to tone your body I highly recommend this program!

Melissa is not educated in body mechanics and it’s clear she does not know her anatomy from her random use of weights and random way she puts her flows together. There is no thought to progressive overload at all which would make the app sustainable for long term members. It would be so easy for someone to get injured if they don’t know body mechanics and are looking to Melissa for guidance which she doesn’t provide because she can’t speak to the body in an educated way. Her cues are bad and always the same.
