My Aurora Forecast

A iPad widget you could be used on your home screen would be really useful and greatly appreciated.

Ever since using this app i got some of the most beautiful shots, thanks guys!

Does absolutely everything you want an aurora app to do, but it has one major downside: its battery usage. When I saw 8% of my battery usage had been this app running in the background during a day I used my phone heavily and used the battery all the way from 100 to 1%, I had no choice but to uninstall and use a different one. However, if your battery draining faster is no concern to you, I would heartily recommend this app.

This is literally the best app ever if your inlove with those small electrolytes which form a huge but majestic shape shifting light, im literally inlove seeing this and thanks to this app i could see actual northern light this time, i have so many beautiful screenshots and i was literally jumping up and down because i saw northern light, its a whole different experience and feeling when you finally see northern light. You will feel cold but also warm at the same time and it will make you stare at it, lose yourself in those beautiful colours in the sky, Blue, Purple, Green, Pink, Red whatever such a color. I literally cant thank "Aurora" enough to be able to experience this beautiful night just because i got a notification of some forecasts.

Super leuk om vanuit je eigen locatie 2000 km. verderop het noorderlicht te zien. En in spanning af te wachten of het deze kant op komt. 💚

Echt een bruikbare app als je op jacht bent naar het noorderlicht. Zelf gebruikt in Finland. Hoop in mijn eigen woonplaats ook nog eens verrast te worden door de app dat ik buiten kan gaan kijken naar het noorderlicht

Great app overall. Does what it should in a way that is clear and concise. I can see where the aurora is now, cloud cover for my location and the forecast for the upcoming days. I particularly like the pop up message ‘If the sky is clear, you might be able to see the aurora within the next hour.’, gives me a heads up when it’s extra interesting to keep an eye on the sky. Perfect little aurora sniper helper 😙

The app works great, the percentages are accurate and it has loads of useful information.

Good app. Tap on map and you will see where Aurora is and see it’s actual movement. A great help to be on time on the right place. As all app’s first you will have to become familiar with it but that can go smooth and fast. For weather predictions go to Norwegian sites. They have ships going out on sea and are far more serious about that.
