Is My Boost Mobile legit?
⚠️ The My Boost Mobile app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I don’t care so much about rating the app but rather, the overall value for money on prepaid versus the rip off post paid (contract) plans. Boost is super reliable (Telstra) and offers 5G etc. But has become expensive over time. My only other gripe is that I wish they had smaller 1year data plans. I hardly use the allotted data.

I can’t access anything I can’t recharge from the app I can’t access my own account I have to recharge via phone call which makes the app very useless it says I don’t have good internet connection however my internet is fine and when I go into work with even better internet it doesn’t work regardless this makes the app totally useless and making me consider looking for a new data provider.

Black Friday Rip Off
I joined Boost, during a Black Friday sale. Swapped from Telstra main line. However, when I paid for my service it charged me the full amount and not the Black Friday sale amount which was mean to be $17 I was charged $50 I contacted customer service and was told I needed a BP or BT number, so they could confirm I made payment to them. Apparently porting over to Boost or providing evidence of this plus confirmation of payment from my bank wasn’t enough. They choose not to honour their sale amount of $17 out of $50 they only refunded me $25 as I needed this email from Boost that I still to this day have never received. I’m only using boost for its roaming option. But will leave as soon as my trip is done. Very poor customer service. The agent didn’t want to entertain me providing my payment details to resolve this. Doesn’t take much to think outside the box or step outside your lane when it come to resolving customer complaints.

I got a new eSIM, but this app wouldn’t let me activate it or create an account. I spent two days working with the Boost consultant, and the issue is still unresolved.
Currently I have no sim and can’t make calls
5 days without any service. The team don’t have a solution yet
Let’s Rip Off the Customer Again
I recharged last night for 7gb. Now they’re telling me I have less than 6gb not even 12 hours ago. I can’t find anywhere on this lovely app to view what it was used on.

Login problems
No email sent to provide my username even though they send me receipts. I’m now in US and it’s been very difficult to get a roaming pack. The app is also challenging to find international roaming packs.
Re auto recharge
Unable to setup auto recharge on one of two phones ( one no issues). Ongoing for 4 months with no support when contact via telephone . Will now look for another provider . MickeyH!!
