Bupa has gotten so much worse, no appointment available for days. They gave appointment post 4 days and then cancelled it saying it’s a tech issue.

Bupa says their insurance is for specialist doctors only, so they can’t get primary care doctors. But for specialist doctors you need to see primary doctors, which they won’t provide , so they basically scam you for money and leave you to die. Its same as Babylon

Glitchy app, it took me over 6 attempts (filling out the form and attaching photos over and over) to book a virtual GP appointment which ended up getting cancelled by the GP last minute. Once rebooked for another date (after 3 further attempts) the GP never turned up!

- impossible to get an appointment with a GP. The technology either does not work (e.g. can’t turn on camera) or the clinicians stand you up if you’re lucky enough to get an appointment
- getting approval in-app still requires a phone call because inevitably it’ll be booked with the wrong specialist or discipline

E: I’ve raised these issues before and there is no point, nothing gets done. If you’re free to choose your insurer, choose one other than BUPA

The app and website don’t work with my member ship number, in order to make and access online appointments. Having spent over an hour trying to resolve this issue with their digital support team and appointment was made for me to speak to a very nice and competent Bupa GP, who agree along with my NHS doctor who examined me, that I needed a urgent referral to a Bupa consultant that would happen with a day. As both were concerned about the presence of cancer. I was told Bupa where committed to getting back to me within a day to arrange and appointment with a consultant. Nothing has happened. I haven’t received any emails with a list of authorised consultants. Poor service and technology.
