## My Charity Shop Description
My Charity Shop is a free app for charity shop customers that integrates with their gift aid donation and sales data. It is unique to those charities who use Eproductive Ltd for their shop tills.

Charity retailers can pick up to 12 ‘tiles’ which range from carrying a scannable gift aid donor card on your phone, to browsing volunteering opportunities in those shops nearest to you. The app knows all your gift aid donation history and unlocks digital award badges when sales of your items reach certain thresholds, such as raising £100 or making 10 donations.
My Charity Shop features video content and hyperlinks to sites like a charity’s eBay page. Depending on the charity, it may also feature weekly lottery results, be used to arrange collection of certain donations such as furniture and contains daily updated environmental data on savings made by recycling goods through a charity shop.

Key Features:

- Scannable Gift Aid Donor Card stored in App
- Live charity volunteer vacancies sorted by distance from you
- Unlock digital awards for raising money through sales of your gift-aided donated items
- Environmental data, based on sales of donated items recycled through charity shops.
- Print a Gift Aid donor label at home, so you can quickly drop a bag off

My Charity Shop has been developed by Eproductive Ltd, the original pioneers of Charity Shop Gift Aid. The App can be customised by each charity with their own icon and tile designs.

## My Charity Shop Reviews in United Kingdom

### **--- "Great Idea but…"
It needs more charities and most importantly if it doesn’t save your log in and donor card there’s no point in it.
-- Queevee, 2024-11-22

### **--- "What’s the point?"
The most valuable facility would be to be able to call up my card/number on my phone but to use this clunky app U have to first select the charity from a list then … enter my number … 🥴
-- Clumberscam, 2024-09-16

### **--- "So disappointing"
At first glance this app looked so good but I would have expected to be able to store my donor cards in my Apple wallet. Instead I have to choose the charity and renter my email address and postcode every time. Just not practical so I won’t be using it unless it is improved.
-- Grumbly Green, 2024-07-28

### *---- "App falls short of what it needed"
When I downloaded the app, I thought it was a great idea, but it has been implemented very poorly.

After setting up the app and then wanting to display me donor card, I have to enter my email address and post code every time.

The app is so bad that it delivers no value, so I have deleted it.
-- SRH1111, 2024-07-25

### ***-- "Doesn’t save my card"
No point me having the app if it doesn’t save my card. I wanted to store my card to save me carrying it around.
-- Batybety, 2024-06-12

### ***-- "Decent, but can be improved"
I like the layout and the ability to easily view a charity's store locations, opening hours, awards/green status etc, as well as the ability to store a digital version of your donor card. However, the app doesn't save your details so each time you go to open your card you have to enter your details, which is a pain. I hope the developers will fix this.
-- FullMetalYakuza, 2024-04-19

### **--- "So near yet so far"
The app does not remember me. Therefore there is no face recognition. It doesn’t even remember my donor identity number let alone my post code.
Printing identity labels uses half a sheet of A4 per label!! Why can’t you let more identity labels be printed on a single sheet of paper?
Please develop what could be a brilliant idea and make gifting far quicker and easier.
-- Nick 43, 2024-03-12

### *---- "App does Not persist donor card details"
This app really needs to persist the donor card details for multiple charities.

Presently it will persist 1 charity donor card details as long as you don’t switch to a second charity. In this scenario, even if no additional details are entered the previously entered data is removed.

Negating the only reason I downloaded this app.
-- Plmbgtihc35;)&, 2023-11-08

### ***** "Handy for Gift Aid"
Keeps my gift aid card on my phone ready to scan when I donate to a charity shop. Don’t need to re-enter details.
-- Pete Franklyn 007, 2023-10-12

### **--- "Doesn’t remember me"
Good idea but I have to re input my info every time I want to use the app
