My Contacts Backup is the easiest way to backup and restore your contacts all from your phone without needing a computer or synchronization. You can backup all your contacts with a single touch and send them to yourself as a .vcf attachment via email.

All contacts can then easily be restored any time by simply opening the .vcf file in your mailbox with iOS Mail app.

I have been using this app for several years and could never understand why some of my contacts just disappeared. It had nothing to do with merging contacts which I seldom did but everything to do with something in the application decided that it was just time to delete. Very frustrating I’m getting rid of it permanently.

Backs up all your contact info quite easily. This is one of my top 10 apps. I also like that you can see your contacts in the backup email. So glad I found this app years ago! UPDATE: Had to drop 1 star because every time I use it it tries to make me remove photos saying 4mg might be too big for email which is ridiculous and annoying!
In 2021 I complained about the app saying 3 mg might be too big to send. There hs been no update or support since then.

I downloaded this app. 

States it needed to access my contacts.

I allowed it.

Within minutes, I decided that I want to delete the app. I just realized I gave it access to my photos and my notes and other apps it didn’t need to have access to. 

Gave me a pop window that says it will delete all my contacts.

Didn’t specify that my iCloud contacts will be deleted too!!! 

It did. And I want to know how!!!

My backup which previously had all my contacts now do not!

I will be contacting apple support tomorrow to see if they can recover.

This is a security issue!

4.  Has no support for contact photos or other data that is critical to contact info.

Many of my most important contacts were in a Contact List that was using a deprecated email address. Unfortunately after searching the Internet and finding no solution that Apple natively provided I reluctantly opted to try a 3rd party app. This app exported ALL 1,000+ of my contacts and I was able to send them to myself via email. The only downside is I could NOT include profile photos due to email size limitations. Nonetheless I got the most important information via this app!
