Good
I don’t like the app lay out but it gets the job done. I submitted a claim on 5/22 about graffiti and a team was sent out on 5/31. I’m very happy with the outcome 👍
Yes, My El Cajon is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.

Very responsive when issues are submitted. Most resolved same day.
Version 2023.1.2.1 is bugged. Every time you open that latest app from the App Store, you are prompted with: “Update your App. A New version has been updated on store. Please download latest version”. Please update the app to correct this very annoying bug.
This is a very good app. You can let the city know what needs fixing or repair. Keep up the good work on this app.
You would think they would at least update things. The last post they made was July? Really? Why would I want too look at old posts from months ago? Dum…
If you are looking for a direct way to see all of the latest information and news about the City of El Cajon you will like this app. While it is no perfect it certainly works well and does what it is designed to do without any major noticeable issues. It is also great for checking status updates on the China Virus and seeing what the city is doing about it.
I’ve used several of these types of apps from other cities. I really like El Cajon’s layout and its ease to use.
I don’t need an app that is constantly monitoring my location. Even after choosing the option to only “allow location while using” it was still accessing my location. This was causing a significant decrease in battery life on my iphone - in addition to a privacy issue. The app should also allow you to “Sign out” but it does not. I hope they correct these issues since I liked the services the app would provide.
