## MY GENESIS Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Faulty"
Won’t retain my login, so each time I need to do a remote action u have to login. Very user unfriendly!
-- Naterbox88, 2026-04-21

### *---- "Forced to migrate from GCS"
The time has come where we have been forced to migrate to this app from the old GCS app. And now I can no longer track my vehicle and see its last operated whereabouts. It feels less premium and tacky. I have another hyundai and the app is literally the same as this. Why should a premium genesis have the same app features as a hyundai
-- aaomr98, 2026-04-17

### *---- "Buggy slow"
Why is the app so good for Hyundai and Genesis one so rubbish?
-- chaza1995, 2026-04-13

### *---- "Worse than the GCS app"
Simply doesn’t work. Try to send instructions to the car and they do not go through. Have not been able to use the app for anything. Piece of garbage. The GCS app was buggy but at least it served a purpose. Why force an app that doesn’t work!?

UPDATE: seems to have broken the facility to charge overnight. No idea how as the car says it is still set but worked fine until yesterday when this app was forced on me.
-- Wobbly Goblin, 2026-04-04

### *---- "Not for me"
I’ve tried to like this app but frankly I much prefer the previous GCS app. It wasn’t perfect, but it was more intuitive. I don’t need Smart watch features. And don’t understand what a widget is, or how it works in this scenario. I miss the refresh key. And the quick to access status tab. This just feels like change for the sake of change, as per usual with all tech things. As long as it continues, I will use the GCS app. I hope I’m not forced to use this new app, but I expect I will be at some point.

UPDATE EDIT: after trying it for some more time and wanting to like it, I decided to delete it. Old GCS app is just fine for me. PS. Where is the security with this app? With GCS, I had to use biometric ID before it would let me send a command (a good feature). With this app, no ID is apparently required throughout all features . Surely a serious security weakness??
2nd UPDATE April 1st. I see we are now forced to update to this horrible new version. Why? All the feedback shows nobody wanted this. Very annoying.
-- Ukpete56, 2026-04-02

### **--- "Set Up Issues"
Having just acquired a used 2023 Genesis GV60, I have been unable to subscribe (me / my car) to Connected Services in the app. I have spoken with a very helpful agent at Genesis UK but she was unable to resolve the issue which (along with cryptic / unhelpful app error message) has now been escalated. So, thus far, nothing like "plug & play".
-- Minnie Dog, 2026-03-11

### *---- "Dreadful response to help request"
I NEVER post negative reviews but I just can’t get answers why this “new” app is so much worse than the old app. I cannot start my gv70 from my phone as I void previously yet no one is interested in responding how it can be done.
So I’ve resorted to SMedia in the hope that I’ll be contacted now??
-- pedroplatto, 2026-03-10

### ****- "Annoying"
App constantly requires a sign in. Why? You have a widget but can never use it because I have to sign in first! Do you guys actually use the app yourself? If not live with it and fix it!
-- Pops4pres, 2026-03-10

### *---- "Useless"
Will not allow registration. Just keeps returning to starting page. Still have the old one which works.
-- Berninpool, 2025-12-22

### *---- "Remote not working for us"
Unfortunately it’s not possible for me as a shared user to access the services. The main user has accepted the user consent, but I still can’t access it.
Hopefully your not discontinuing the old APP, which works fine
