## My GPS Coordinates Description
Easily share your GPS location via email, text messaging, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.  The recipient receives a link to an online map with your position on it.  Please note that GPS does not work well under a roof.  For best results, use outdoors.

Coordinate formats include:
- Degrees
- Degrees, Minutes
- Degrees, Minutes, Seconds
- UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator)
- MGRS (Military Grid Reference System)

Share with any of the following map providers:
- Apple Maps
- Google Maps™
- Bing Maps™
- OpenStreetMap®
- Yandex.Maps
- HERE.com
- Custom URL

Other features:
- Copy coordinates to clipboard. (To paste elsewhere)
- Copy map URL to clipboard.
- Choose between light or dark theme.
- Set email or emails to autofill when composing mail.
- Set phone number to autofill when composing text message.
- Create custom map URLs. Please refer to the help webpage for more information and examples.

Note that it usually takes several seconds for the satellite GPS receiver to warm up and provide accurate position data.  During this time, it's possible to share an old location or an inaccurate location reported by cellular tower triangulation.  This is why the 'last location age' and 'accuracy' readouts exist.  Red means bad.

Please also note that choosing the correct coordinate format is very important.  Minutes and seconds are base 60, not base 100.  For example, 2.50 degrees is 2 degrees and 30 minutes.

The datum used is WGS-84.

I’m sorry I purchased this App. I needed this for surveys but it is useless. It is only accurate to 541 feet. $5.99 and it can’t get closer than two football fields. My 20 year old Magellan beats that by over 500 feet. I was ripped off. Can I get my money back?

### ***** "Excellent GPS Location Tool, Easy To Use"
Been using this for several years to determine GPS coordinates for cemetery headstones for my genealogy database. It is fast, convenient, and plenty accurate enough for my purposes.  All I want and need are coordinates as text and this tool offers exactly that capture. The ads in the free version are tiny, unobtrusive, and barely noticeable. The app has never crashed or crashed my phone as a few others complain. I recommend it for anyone needing similar needs.

The app “GPS Status” in the App Store is better and more accurate.

Can be off up to 125 ft. Just tested this around my subdivision. Granted I was using google maps to check its accuracy, but it hasn’t asked me to swerve of corse by 125 ft. If you’re looking for an accurate way of finding your coordinates when you have WiFi, I’d say you’re better off just finding your coordinates using google maps.

My gps shuts down if I receive a text message or email.  If I get a message or whatever it just stops.  If I don’t check it I lose my mileage and time.  
2.  Unless I shut down my phone I cannot turn off app.

Clicked on the app to open it; but ended up having to hard shut down my phone. A pop-up appeared when it opened wanting permission to access my location; but I was unable to allow because the pop-up blinked on and off like a strobe light. I was unable to exit. Thank the maker my phone did shut off!

I need a way to quickly and easily evaluate the GPS reception quality where I am. For a while I couldn’t find any app to do this simple job (lots of apps will give you your location or map it or log waypoints and so on), but I found this one and it does exactly that.

So it gives a gps location but the accuracy is always within 16 feet or greater. I wanted to use this to find property lines but I would need accuracy within a few inches. What's even more disappointing is that my iPhone gps can find what corner of the room I'm in, in my house.
