I know I was following the instructions. I know that room was well lit. I even tried shining a light directly on it. Stop trying to blame this on my dentist when your guys’ app doesn’t work. I am on my fourth set of trays with my Invisalign. The app will not update past my first ClinCheck plan, so I have been completely unable to track my progress and see what movement should be occurring. The Invisalign rep and customer service haven’t been able to solve the problem and, frankly, I don’t think they care about solving it as long as they get paid. This app just gets worse over time. I’m 14 months into wearing Invisalign so I am experienced in using the app and taking photos. Over the last two months the photo taking process has been horrible. I get to the last two photos and can NOT get the app to take the photos. I get rapid fire alternating messages that “No face detected” “No teeth detected” “Move a bit closer.” I am doing everything correctly and just can’t get the app to work. All the other photos are fine, it’s the last two photos that won’t get taken. I have also begun deleting the app and downloading it again prior to taking photos in case there are any app updates to see if that helps.
