I added $20 and I get a transfer error in the app but in my bank account the $20 is withdrawn. So how is it that the added funds isn’t reflected in the app? Please y’all need to do a maintenance check or update because now i wasted $20 on absolutely nothing and no funds on my My Magic Pass App

I’ve been using the app for months and randomly every card I try to use no matter how new wont accept the transaction so I’ve been forced to go to the laundromat to do my clothes.

Our building recently converted to this app for its laundry room. With 70 apartments and just two washers and one dryer, demand is extremely high. The app does not sensor the machines in real time. This means there is a 5-10 minute lag between when laundry is actually finished and out of the machine, and when the app allows us to run the machine again. It's a real time waste and exceedingly frustrating, especially as laundry charges have increased 100-150% since the app was introduced. Not recommended.

There are just so many things wrong with this system and app that I’m surprised buildings have signed on to it. The $20 minimum increments are problematic, the automatic reload, the fact that the machines used is not accurate. This app needs major changes and upgrades!

This app has so many bugs and problems, especially when accepting payments and processing them. It has no recourse for support as credit cards are charged without confirmation and laundry machines that do not work still charge you.

The app overall is not professional and is poorly architected. Some of the basic expectations you’d enforce in apps like this are not present. It is too easy to scam the users and overcharge without support.

The 5 star reviews must be fake because even if you had a great experience using this app it couldn’t possibly be better than a neutral experience (which I highly doubt is the average user’s experience).

This app is disappointing and a pain to use. It’s a point of frustration and a step backwards when it comes to technological progressive that could have been made.

Fix the crucial payment bugs. They are unethical.

The app glitches out. Too often I’ve spent 2/3 times what I had planned because the app will charge you to start the washer/dryers and the machine itself won’t receive the signal to start. The app will show the machines running and not available, but the machines are not operational, and request you to pay at the machine again to use it.  Most tenets in my building have gone back to siding the SEBCO card again.

The app is a bit delayed in showing when the wash is done. I have to wait for about 20-30 mins after the wash is actually done to be able to pay for another wash on the app. This is very inefficient use of time.

If there is a way to set up notifications (e.g. sounds) then it must be very convoluted. I would like to be able to set up five minute warnings. 

When the machine is done it still shows on the app as busy. Sometimes i have to open an empty machine for a bit to be able to add value. Obv this means when i am not in the laundry room i dont see the true status. Maybe there needs to be a status “awaiting” if the machine is done but has not been emptied.

It's crazy that I can choose how much I'd like to add. I may only need $4.5 to use the landry for short term and I turned out have to pay at least $20.

So many times I’ve gone all the way to my building’s laundry room without my wallet just to find that MyMagicPass needs to be reloaded but has forgotten my card info. There’s no need for an app if I have to take my wallet every time I do laundry.

The system takes forever to reset whenever someone is done with the washers. It says the machines are in use when they are not. If it’s a celular data issue then you would think it obvious that these machines operate in building basements. Even when the machines are ready to use it’s a gamble on whether it’ll accept the payment and tell you the washer is busy WHEN IT OBVIOUSLY ISNT.

When you sell things everything is online, when i purchase the card and out money i can just sit on my couch and do everything online but when i ask refund, i have mail the card back to your adresse. and than you send us check. why when you sell everything is easy, online. but when it comes to refund i need to go post office. this system is stupid. this is the worst work ethic. this is stealing money. this is selling and dont care about to customers. what if we are disabled, sick, old, or anything, why you give us hard time to refund us. all the big companies like this one, are just care about taking the money from people like us. and they dont give any good service. this is with one word stealing money.  SHAME ON YOU!!!!

It’s RIDICULOUS that u have to pay a lump sum of AT LEAST 20$ 

As a broke college student this app has taken the majority of my funds. For example today I didn’t buy groceries for the week because I had to do laundry. In a normal world I could’ve done both. I only spent 7$ out of the 20$ but now I have to wait to get payed again to eat cause all my money is locked inside the app. 

Btw the app itself DOES NOT WORK its constantly WRONG about when to pick up your clothes and what machines are available. 

It’s completely USELESS and if anything causes more stress to my day than not. ALSO in NO WAY is it a money saver. 2.50$ per wash and 2.50$ per dry that’s INSANE especially since the washers are SO TINY that u have to buy 2 LOADS to fill 1 DRYER
