How to measure , with iPad mini 6 non Lidar and without adding laser detector, room dimensions when App doesn’t recognise wall edge? Wall is approximately 12feet. With AR on or off, Moving iPad around doesn’t help edge detection. I tried laser light to point to edge. I end up counting floor tiles rather than any App.

Please fix it ASAP
It is handy when you need to record down dimension. However it is missing an important function to translate between different units. For example if I recorded everything in metric and I want to see it in inch when buying furniture with dimension written in inches
The video for institution is fake!!! I’ve no idea how did they figure out how to get these starts but surely dont spend your time especially your money on this.
