Memorial Hermann need Dr. Eddie Lambert back. He cared about his patients. I came in to the ER with severe abdominal pain. I was told I needed emergency surgery to remove my appendix. The general surgeon Dr. Hoang Le was awful. He never spoke to me before the surgery and afterwards he came to my room stating my appendix was not impressive. This was 24 hours or longer after the procedure. He left me
thinking if the surgery was needed. His bed side manner is not impressive. Dr. Sunder Dhamotharan the hospitalist attempted to discharge me while passing large  clots after the surgery and not wanting to follow through. I demanded not to be discharged and for
more test to be ran. He admitted my symptoms was unfamiliar territory to him. The treatment I received as a black woman was horrible. I have contacted the medical board to file
formal complaints and will be seeking legal
advice.

They don’t call back even after leaving voicemail, when we need prescription refills and they deny it, wanna talk to doctor, they just ignore don’t call us back, and this is not once, I have called nurse several times for other reasons and they don’t calls us back. One I had neck and back pain and ordered MRI, they called me back after 1 month with the results, when we need them they don’t call us back, then there is no use of doctors or nurses like this. This is happening every time now.

I’ve been calling the phone numbers I used to call but it’s not going thru and just giving me the same options that does not lead to anything: repeated response with no results, not leading to anywhere which does not help

Since Hermann updated and joined My Chart, I have lost the ability to email my doctors.  I do not have a choice to choose who I wish to email.  So, now I have to call my doctors for EVERYTHING.  A dozen hoops later and Technical support is clueless.

I installed the app in order to find a specialist. After installing, agreeing to terms, verifying my email address and phone numbers, and granting app permissions I was ready to start looking. First try I was informed that appointments could not be made online. Trying to search for a specialist only led to a Page Not Found error. 
Wasted about 30 minutes of my time and now I'll have to give customer service a go at it.
