Support for your My Cloud device has changed, and some devices are no longer supported with this app. We’ve developed a new OS to keep up with evolving security standards. Compatible devices must be Upgraded to My Cloud OS 5 by January 15, 2022. Incompatible devices will lose support on April 15, 2022, and need to use local access to manage your content. For more details, please visit https://www.westerndigital.com/mycloudupdates.
Functionalities with the My Passport Wireless products remain unchanged. You can continue to wirelessly access, organize and stream content from your phone or tablet using the My Passport Wireless app.
Note: The My Passport Wireless app requires a My Passport Wireless device to work (sold separately).

Crashes frequently
Crashes every time when i try to open it
WDMyCloud is amazing
I m using WDMyCloud since last one year and it's fantastic thing. I copied all my movie, songs and all my office stuff. Also I set the back up for my mobile and its make backup all my pics of my mobile. And whenever, wherever I want to access I can do that. Thank you Western Digital company.

Never again WD
Very poor support from WD, pushes you to buy a new device, while those of us with the old one can only access data at home. Shameful for the company to do such a thing.
Torture. Poorly implemented. Can’t do basic stuff.
Update 2023: WDGeneralNetworkError Error 500 is our latest show-stopper. (Older. was it ever fixed?):Simple operations fail. All I want to do is copy a folder from internal storage on a my passport wireless pro to an external usb drive. “A file already exists at this location” error comes up mid-copy and you have to start over.
Used to work!
This app used to recognize my WD connected to my modem, it doesn’t anymore. My computer still does what this app used to, so disappointed
