Porsche dealerships push owners to get this app. Use it to track your vehicle they say. Then tell owners about how someone’s vehicle was stolen and this app saved the day before the vehicle was shipped overseas. Fear is a great tool… So we jump through so many hoops to try and get this app working. Sign up for this Porsche account, the. Sign up for a different account, they consent to tracking and data collection, so on and so forth. After all of that is done then head back to the dealership so they can unlock and enable the vehicle to use these functions. The app finally works, but only until it doesn’t. I’m not sure if it was an update that killed the connection or something else. Tried the typical log out then log in routine but it didn’t work. Ensure the vehicle doesn’t have any firmware updates. It doesn’t. All the app does now is shows the “connecting” animation endlessly. Hopefully someday this app will work again.

All I did was download the app and it won’t load anything I just want to add my cayenne and the home page won’t load after reading the reviews it’s sad that Porsche has ignored their customers complaints I never had an issue with my Toyota app pretty disappointed when all I ever wanted was a Porsche and the app doesn’t even work

I hate I purchased after having free for a year. $205 dollars down the drain and the PCM won’t connect!!!! I want a full refund of this crap that hasn’t worked since July!!! Porsche should be ashamed!!!!

Update. This is still the worst app. Maybe of all time. If you have a Porsche, don’t download this app. Disregard any communication from the company and there attempts to fix the app. Absolute garbage. It’s so slow and glitchy. It’s like they tried to make the app the opposite of the car experience. And it’s been this way for years. No improvement despite countless bad reviews. It’s a joke.

A lot of bugs with this application including crashing. Also, they don’t include equal access to features on different years of the same vehicle! 2020 Taycan has no window, horn, or headlight controls. Truly pathetic! Wake up Porsche. It’s a $200k car!

I just purchased a hybrid cayenne and the vehicle is incredible. However, with 15 years of bmw experience I will say the Porsche app falls way short. BMW has a digital key you can place in your wallet allowing me to open the car in the event I forget or lose my key. The ability to control many other features in the car is superior and the speed of connection is much faster. These are just a few suggestions to hopefully propel Porsche tech forward a bit.

Your latest release is just full of bugs. It has backwards incompatible changes and immediately broke the previous version. The status rolling circle is always red (cannot connect to vehicles) despite the app able to send remote signals. Please fix this

Excellent SUV with a terrible app. The previous Porsche Car Connect was informative and robust. Always worked. The My Porsche app has better graphics. But it works maybe 5% of the time. BMW and Tesla have far superior apps. So does Ram and GMC. 1 star is too complimentary for this app. Sad to say this is the worst app I have seen from a car manufacturer recently
