Cancellation of service
I called Sky on the 19th September to cancel service when my contract was due to expire on 21st of November but got no reply. I called again the next day, 20th September and informed the representative that I would not be renewing my contract. He made numerous attempts to talk me out of it, but I persisted with my intention to NOT renew my contract . He then proceeded to tell me that he would transfer me to the appropriate team. The call was dropped whilst I was waiting to hear from the team. I called again some weeks later and was informed by a representative that I would be billed for November to December, as I hadn’t returned a call back to confirm my cancellation. I did not receive a call back. I have checked my call log and there is no record of any call back. I have disconnected all Sky equipment, and am waiting for the packages, to return the equipment. I have just received an email informing me that a late charge has been added and that my service has been restricted. I am getting emails asking to reconsider and offered special deals. I no longer wish to do business with Sky and waiting to return all equipment once I receive the packaging.
Expect better
I expect better from Sky themselves. There is no way t report a problem on Sky mobile which lately seems to be nearly every day I’m struggling to be able to make a call or use mobile data despite having signal etc.
Lately while attempting to use the upgrade link for handset you get so far through the process and the pop up screen that opens for you to do it just goes blank and have to close and start again.
Very disappointing from Sky given their hugely costly premium service image!

Great until it’s not
Using sky stream. Happy with the package, although the interface isn’t that great, but when you hit an issue Sky is nowhere to be found. Loads of technical pages but when you want to flag up a problem with the programming there is no way to reach out - it’d be easier to contact God !
Why do I need to log on every time?
Just joined Sky and downloaded the app. Every time I use it l need to log on as it doesn't seem to remember account details! Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong?
It keeps crashing!

Links don't work
I can see my bills, upgrades, anything to do with Sky is fine but I can't click on any links to sky VIP. I can't access any of the giveways, tickets, free movies....basically anything good. Really disappointing
Rubbish
Old versions worked for years without issues. Now when I try to do anything it says various things along the lines that I don’t have any Sky products. Despite me having tv, broadband and six mobiles. I follow the steps to relink my account and it just errors. Yet I can log straight in on the desktop version so definitely an app issue. Staggering that a business with the money that Sky have can release such poorly tested software. I’m glad they don’t have anything to do with aircraft or nuclear weapons and yes I’ve reinstalled it three times and turned the phone off and on etc.
