## My Thermotouch Description
MyThermotouch allows you to connect your electric underfloor heating thermostat to your wireless router for accurate control from anywhere you have an internet connection. You can set a target temperature, edit your heating schedule and even control an electric towel rail with the Thermotouch Dual Control Thermostat. Compatible thermostats: Thermogroup 5220W, 5226W, 5245W and 5246W.

I’ve wasted SO many hours on this. Says that bugs are fixed 3 months ago. They’re not. Tried factory reset, no good. Tried a 2.4 mini hub, no good. Does anyone have the names of alternatives?

I recently bought the Wireless Single Control Until with the Wireless router and it doesn’t work. I called Thermosphere abs they said it’s because the app needs to be updated and the developers are on Chinese New Year! 

Sounds like poor excuses..

Avoid buying this product if you intend to use your phone to control your thermostats. If I had known I would not have purchased. I feel duped. Apparently the developers are “working” on the bug but no one knows when that will be. Can’t believe I am stuck with the thermostats.

So after some reading through the comments here, the only way I got this to work was to log into my WiFi hub and disable the 5GHz frequency that my phone with the app was connecting to by default.
Once the hub was limited to 2.4GHz the phone / app connected to the thermostat OK. 
I was then able to re-enable the 5GHz frequency and the communication between phone / app and thermostat continued OK.

As for the app itself, it’s very dumb compared with Nest / Hive, allowing only 3 on/off pairings per day Monday - Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

As of October 2020 this app has stopped working altogether - probably connected with release 14. The company website isn’t loading either. Avoid avoid avoid !

Appallingly designed implementation. Rarely works. Useful features have been removed by the developers with no thought. Just a waste of money. Avoid Thermotouch! Abandoned by developers. Shameful - avoid products by this company.

The is app is the 1st app I think I have written about, it constantly fails and the only way it will get working again is to reset the whole thing. The whole thing is infuriating.
