They beat around the bush on promotions and rebates. You will be lucky to receive anything and support is terrible. I’ve been going back and forth for weeks trying to get an issue I have resolved. Even activating my phones was a pain.

Verizon’s assistant is a horrible font door bouncer to its customers!

This is a horrible app to say the least. Verizon likes their assistant to handle their customers rather than let you talk to a real person. I spent several hours trying to navigate struggle with the (verbal) assistant to help me on the phone. When it didn’t give me an option that I could use or needed, the verbal assistant would hang up on me because there was no button on its menu to press. There was no option to speak to a human - at all. Oh yeah it’s best to mention this… when dealing with the verbal assistant on the phone, you better know your security pin or you won’t get anywhere with the assistant! There won’t even be an option to speak to a human representative. The link the assistant sends via text doesn’t always come through or work either. Because of the assistant I tried calling several contact numbers posted on Verizon’s website just to talk to a person to fix my account issue. All the listed Verizon numbers brought me back to the horrible front door demonic bouncer they call a verbal assistant. Finally in desperation I tried the Verizon mobile app. The assistant is on there too. Ugh. The app likes to crash when you type the simple answer the assistant asks you to put in. Then when it said it was going to start me with a chat with a human representative it said it had problems and that I should try again… and again, and again… and AGAIN. After several tries of this I left this review. I’m so unhappy and disappointed with Verizon’s assistant and this app. Would not recommend this app or service to a friend.

Once you sign a contract with them, they will add any reoccurring fees , disconnect fee, reconnection fees, and or pay off device before you can even complain about the contract. Once you sign the contract they will add any fees they wish, they do not refund credit when saying they will, they do not work with you and give you the run around, they trick you into opening a new line when upgrading to add more contract obligation. That’s all they will do is scam your money once you are hooked on. I’m currently at paying about 2,400$ a a 4th of the year. Do not waste your time buying a phone that you’d have to sign a contract by paying a monthly charge. That’s all a scam.

They shouldn’t have gotten rid of the MyFios app and now I can manage my Fios under the home section and forces me to chat with an agent. I have to do this or call to manage WiFi settings it horrible.

The app is a virtual haystack with your request hidden somewhere. Besides that I’ve been on hold for 40 min trying to find out why I have been double charged and why I haven’t received the $300 Verizon Gift Card that was promised when I switched from ATT. Was it just a ploy? Wondering how I can get back to AT&T.

Purely due to how bad this app is and how terrible the associated customer service. I’d strongly recommend a more customer focused carrier.
