Excellent CPAP machine, very quiet I love it, and just as important, so does my wife!
My wife purchased her ResMed CPAP machine in January 2024. I purchased mine 2 months later. All she has to do to get data is to tap machine. Why do I have to go through this incredibly difficult process to enable me to get my data? Fiddling around with my phone etc., when I could, like my wife, just tap the machine???? Please advise
New to CPAP usage, MyAir app shows 100% which does not reflect the detailed sleep data and my actual sleep. The SleepHQ iPhone app and there representations of same data but detailed, highlights more apnea problems, respiration , breathing, sleep state. ResMed would greatly benefit its customers health by providing this necessary information.
There is quite a difference between what the hire RESMED 10 and what this app reports , I have noticed it’s very easy to get a incident report even one is fitting the mask for the first time , I also noticed it seems the RESMED use seems to report false aponea , even holding one’s breath instigates these reports . I also noticed in this weeks abortive attempt to try and use the RESMED 10 ,I used a oximeter and within 2 minutes the oximeter was reporting only 93% , take the mask off and blood oxygen goes back up
I wish: 1) I could connect my device to my home wifi network or at least it used Bluetooth, because it takes ages for my app to update with my overnight stats. 2) My app would record the uninterrupted device usage, instead of assigning a portion to yesterday with the remainder slotted into today.
It is impossible to contact Support - the website just has menus and sub-menus of pre-set questions and answers, and no means to lodge specific questions, such as: 1. - What are the steps to get data into Apple’s iOS Health app? and, 2. - What does ResMed intend to do for users of AirSense10 devices when 3G connectivity is turned off in the middle of this year? Is it too much to expect Support to read reviews and respond here. . .
I use Airsense 11 and it’s a great machine. I would personally rank it above the Airsense 10. But this is about the app. Please please please - let the users see the following in the app. 1. Total AI 2. Obstructive AI 3. Daily pressure Please trend these in the plots by day. It’s the 21st century and apps have moved on. Please move out of the “holding data with retail outlets / so called experts” mentality and place the data with the customers. It then allows me to speak with my GP with my data at any point. Apple has placed all its watch data (in fact more complicated and critical than this) in the hands of the users. The world has moved on and not showing all data in the app just allows other app developers to create apps with data from SD cards etc. and plot & store what this app should be doing natively. I have not seen a single response from ResMed developers to any feedback - so I am not sure if anyone even reads this; but if anyone is reading this at all they will know that everyone is asking for the same thing.
At every major update the daily data update gets later in the day. It’s now after 9am. Pointless checking it for medical appointments, it’s not available when you need it.
Really ? I’ll review further when you address the basics So in latest update you decide to extract steps from Health app - seriously !!! Time wasted when you should be writing data from MyAir to the Health app.
Not sure why this app is getting good reviews. The data it provides each day is so generalised and simplified as to be useless to understand or improve your treatment quality. The instructional videos are a nice touch but have no verbal/text content to explain what is happening (background music only).
