Reviewed this app a while ago and it was rubbish then, but it’s actually, if that was possible, got even worse! It very rarely ever connects to the car and now we are mid winter you can’t use the climate control. The Mercedes app is light years ahead of this!

### *---- "Consistently slow and unreliable"
In the 10months of having the car , every on of your updates just wipe me off as a user meaning I have to go through setting up my profile again and again, which fu July enough, you make a awkward as possible, and usually when your in a hurry. Again, I have to go through setting myself up as the main user, which will mean I’ll have to test passwords, as your app , every time, tells me my information is wrong. This is a joke now, whoever is in charge of your updates need reviewing, your being outdone by BMW, Tesla, and even Ford , and likely many others, your system updates just do not work! Simple. Please fix these for future updates so customers don’t have to keep getting locked out of their own cars and having to rest themselves as a user !

I’ve had this app for a month now so I am updating my initial review. I still think the app is pretty pointless for my vehicle at least. Maybe it’s main purpose is for charge stats on electric cars. The one useful thing I have found in the app is letting me know if the alarm has gone off. I would recommend adding a feature that notifies users if they have forgotten to lock their car after a certain amount of time. The app should also auto refresh my vehicle stats upon opening without having to manually refresh myself

I came from Peugeot app to this Audi. Well I thought at first this app was amazing till got more involved with it , the issue is this app with timer is very poor. As with Peugeot app you can set a weeks timer Sunday to Saturday as many timers in that week as you like. Morning and afternoon, and night. So while at work my car would be nice and warm or cool. With Audi can only do a day and one time only. Very poor indeed. Plus a subscription based as well  free with other company’s. Never had to pay subscription, jaguar, Volvo, Peugeot, all carried there stuff on. And I picked up my Audi and was shocked. Look I to the app see if you need things first. Before paying £182 for a year. Not any offers either.sorry does not deserve a 5 star now corrected I will look at altering once app improve if it does.

Update 27/12/2024 - BUG: When you open the right front door the app says the front left door is open 😂 - who is testing this???

Update (3/12/2024) - BUG: some labels now showing in German. 

Remote climates control is so slow. The UX for this is the worst I've seen in 20 years. You can't send climate control information AND set the timer at the same time. What??!! Forgot to warm up the passenger seat too? That's 10 minutes to stop the climate control then 10 minutes to restart it. There are better ways to send information async!! This is terrible. Very amateur.

I have a 2021 a3 s line and can’t do much with the app. (Unless I purchase additional content) like for the dash and mmi system. There was more that use to be available on the functionality store that’s now removed aswell. Overall I’d say you’re spending all this money on these cars, then these things should be included and be much more user friendly/ responsive (when I unlock my car with my watch it takes about 5mins to unlock /lock

App says that car is unlocked or windows/tailgate  open when actually the car is all locked and secure. Not what you want to see if you are away from the vehicle. Sort it out ASAP

Very poor app, connection is out around 90% of the time and full of bugs. I expected better from a premium company and it’s frustrating to say the least when you have an EV you need to charge etc. 👎🏻

I cannot believe that you can pay 13 GRAND for a car just to have to then pay a subscription to use the interface in the car? Are they absolutely for real I cannot believe the cheek of this. 11 quid odd a month to connect my phone to Bluetooth? The rest of the interface isn’t far off useless, may as well drive about with a Bluetooth speaker and save myself the money I am really really annoyed they can even have the cheek to ever add that. What am I driving, Amazon prime ? Pay for the app then pay to watch films on the app? Nothing but daylight robbery making you pay to use the computer IN YOUR OWN CAR. Will not be recommending and it honestly makes me want to get shut of the car

### **--- "Good App when working -frequently not ."
New Q6, and the App is not good, always dropping out “technical fault”. Not working more than working.
On MMI , my partner is Key User, I am shown as second User, but MMi refuses to load. Also when all settings done for Key User, next time in vehicle they have all disappeared.
We have done delete, reset etc. but still no joy.

Can’t believe that a so called prestige car manufacturer would issue an app that has so many bugs.  Constantly is working then not working then working again, total pot luck.  

Even after the latest update the first thing I see is…. Can’t reload….  Well that update was worth it.

And takes an age to do any remote climate control etc.

### *---- "Force opens the app on my device when get into the car - why?"
I deleted Amazon music for the same liberty, I’d do the same with this if was not critical to the operation of the car. 

Why? What is the purpose of doing this. Apart from providing customer friction unnecessarily. Not very user focused and probably a business issue that you have prioritised such as ‘drive app engagement’ so your data looks better. A poor experience.

Recently bought a 2019 Q7. This app is shocking. I’ve made an account. Went to audi so they could make primary user. Used the pin etc. The app keeps saying my account is deactivated. It is not. How can it be? Paid for the ability to open the car with my phone but that doesn’t even let me select it!

This App is terrible, in fact of the 100 or so apps on my phone it is the worst. Never syncs with Ohme and takes the joy out of owning an electric car when you have to stand in the rain to try and get the App to work just so you can drive your car. Audi need to do much better.
