It is good at generating leads, but there needs to be some form of policing from the company as some leads are soooo ambiguous and vague, and you have to effectively bid on such poor descriptions

I like the app but they need a feature where the job/advert shows it’s been closed when someone wins the work to help notify others tradespeople that the work is gone.

Charging you money just for a customer to share details with you and no guarantee to get the job means you just lose money for no reason. In addition, customers can shortlist multiple people at the same time meaning everyone loses money and no work has been done or paid for.
The app developers have a very lucrative scheme here they must make tonnes of money, so props to them for being so smart.

I gave up using this app, not only due to the app’s build quality, but because I feel support can manually go in and shadow ban or put limits on certain accounts.

I find it strange how I went from receiving invites daily, to absolutely none.

I haven’t received any for a whole month now. This is after support removed 2 reviews left by people I didn’t work for. The reviews no longer show up on my profile which is good, but I believe the effect of having the 2 negative reviews is still there.

It doesn’t make sense that I’d go from receiving invites from potential customers daily, to none.

I decided to stop using the app and no longer show interest in work there. I’m using alternatives now.

This company offers tradespeople contact with potential clients, I am in construction, I went through the sign up process and found it was straight forward but the obvious tie you in signs are apparent ... must check and verify all contact details and must confirm payment card (of which they take the numbers obviously)  you can 'show interest' in any jobs on the list ... 90% of are very low yield, single day (or less) jobs more related to a handyman than tradesmen, I found out that 6 days prior I had been sent a message from a prospective customer yet there was no notification of this on the app, which I'd been checking a couple of times a day as it CONSTANTLY sends you notifications for little jobs in your target area ... it was 6 days old the message and they charged me £53 because I'd had this customer send me a single message ... not that I'd got the job for this customer ... I've never gotten a reply from customer service (which is simply a submission form, there is NO WAY OF CALLING THEM) this feels very scam like now I'm at the point of no contact still with them ... I will have to pull my bank account to stop them attempting to take this money any further. BE WARNED ... the work is poor anyway what's on offer ... very few decent jobs and the ones that are will have 10 plus trying to get it at the same time (all of which may pay the 'FEE' these clowns are charging ... meaning they could make anything from £200 - £1000 with ten people trying to get a single job from 1 client .. beware guys

Used to be really good until they started putting big prices on job leads. A lot of fake job leads in my opinion when you get shortlisted your unable to contact them or very quickly the job is already allocated although the jobs only just been posted . Waste of money. There’s better job apps out there now .

Used the app for over a year now and wasted a lot of money on shortlist fees, I got 20% of the jobs that have been shortlisted. App allows customers shortlisting as many people as they want and guess who’s paying all the shortlist fees? Obviously TRADES people.

The app used to be good. Max 5 trades could be shortlisted so you are only competing for a job between 5 trades. This has now been increased to 10 so MyBuilder gets double the money for each lead. The cost of leads have also increased. The interface in the app is terrible since the update. You can no longer see who you are competing by against. 
Clients should also be charged to upload a job as there as soon as possible many time wasters and people posting who don’t know the cost of works, so estimates should be sent to them before they post.

Fee should be paid only when you get hired , some clowns shortlist who ever is interested and all of them have to pay fee and then they change their mind because they realised they can’t even afford the job or either even materials . Who ever got shortlisted paid fee with no actual job done . Pretty decent scam system . I quite suspicious that they create adds themselves, you are interested in the job , paid the fee but when it comes to business no one responds .

Since the big change and up date all I have to say is what a disappointment… I’ve used my builder for over 3 years and all I can say it was absolutely brilliant before update but after it is absolutely rubbish I feel sure there is fake leads coming through that shortlist you and then just ghost you …. This didn’t happen often before the update but now seems to be every other lead … we spend around £600 on leads per month with this app which is quite a lot of money for leads … and the customer service has totally changed also and is absolutely rubbish for this reason we are currently looking at other alternatives to my builder
