MyCitroën Connect FAQ
Is MyCitroën Connect free?
Yes, MyCitroën Connect is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is MyCitroën Connect legit?
⚠️ The MyCitroën Connect app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The Citroën app is absolutely terrible. It doesn’t send any notifications, like whether your car has started, how much fuel is left—nothing. I don’t get any notifications on my phone, even after updating the app multiple times. For instance, my car has been parked outside my house since morning, but the app shows it as “continuously running.” It’s adding kilometers and increasing the average fuel consumption, claiming that my car is using fuel. According to the app, my fuel tank should be empty by now, even though my car has been standing idle in front of my house all day. It’s such a useless app—no notifications, no alerts—nothing. It even shows alerts without any actual reason, as if my stationary car is running. Absolutely ridiculous!
Need notification sound
It would have been great if the notifications comes as a pop up with notification sound.
This app doesn’t take password
Was reading on the several feedback’s but I think these feedback hardly matters to Citroen, whenever you want to access the app this dosnt have credentials and gets log out automatically, iv seen the user interface only the day I bought this car post that it’s unable to log in since it dosnt take password. Kindly help me with the same and atleast upgrade your app you guys have global presence in market. Disappointed.
Charge status not showing
I am facing lots of issues with this app. It automatically logs off is one of the issue. Recently the charge indicator is not showing properly. It says its slow charging whereas tge charging status is not shown.
Can’t Login
Can’t even login to app always says wrong VIN number. However, same VIN worked on other citroen app which was not that useful.
Pathetic App
Different in the cluster and in the app. It seems the readings for the available fuel, DTE, Odometer is stuck and not changing any further. For example actual odometer reading in the car is 4009 and in the app it’s 3958. Sometimes the app takes a day to update/add a trip. The fuel economy shown in the app and in the cluster is also different never matches. For example the trip meter shows 11.9 fuel economy for the trip while app shows 11.2. Location tracking is also stuck, does show the proper location if the car is moving.

Need to work on the UX
The app is well designed over all, and deserves five starts. What irks me is the “usage based insurance”. I was just browsing the app, when I saw this buried in the settings. I was curious, so I clicked it. Got a pop up saying Citroen will monitor my usage n data n Yada yada”, to which I clicked ok. And boom, you signed me up for usage based insurance with no further prompts, and no way to unenroll it.
Talk about bad UX. WTH Citroen?? Couldn’t you add a warning? Or a couple of more prompts? Or a page with detailed info to educate me? Tis is awful. I already got a third party insurance, and now I’m forced to contact Citroen customer support to figure out what to do.
