The Dolphin robotic pool cleaner is designed to make sure you have a clean pool, and crystal-clear pool water. The 'MyDolphin™ Plus' app gives you complete control over what the robot does and the way it does it.    

The Dolphin robotic pool cleaner is connected to your mobile using Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® so you can control it from anywhere at any time!  

You can use your mobile, or voice control to send your robot out to clean and tell it when to stop.    

 The 'MyDolphin™ Plus App allows you to:  
* Control your pool cleaner from anywhere at any time. 
* Voice control it via Siri®

### **--- "Does not connect, hangs on support requests"
A poor experience with the app so far. 

There are three parts to the experience, the robot itself is reasonably effective. 

The app, when functioning, is OK, a bit clunky and navigation could be easier, but works overall.

The problems arise when the connection fails. After a few months of use, the app no longer sees the device, despite multiple restarts, etc. 

There is supposed to be an override to not-found error but scanning the QR code makes the app hang.

Trying to send a support request also makes the app hang, so for now, the device can’t be connected with no ability to resolve.

I have spent many hours trying to connect to my 2.4Ghz wifi network. Despite much effort It fails for “some reason” which is not a helpful message. Robot cleans really well but the app Is a disaster.

Seems kind of stupid that to register the Dolphin, I need to be Bluetooth connected AND connected to my WiFi. My wifi does not reach my pool area….First world problem, I know, but what’s wrong with using the 5G connection on my phone instead of Wi-Fi?

I have tried every which way but still can’t get the app to open on my iPhone.
I’ve contacted maytronics and where I bought the robot, neither seem interested!
The robot depends on the app, no other controls available, and for this reason,I wouldn’t recommend Dolphin robots!!!

After the app recently updated it wanted me to login and register et cetera but when it’s trying to connect to Wi-Fi  it drops the Bluetooth connection it then starts off from the beginning only to fail at the same point every single time. 

how can you release something this broken that costs so freaking much! Machine has eaten its cable twice and it does not work if there is a cover on the pool (The cable is so buoyant it drags on the underside stopping it from reaching the shallow end ) and even after multiple attempts at support from anybody in the company we’ve had nothing I’d avoid buying this, we’re stuck with it now.

### *---- "Rubbish App doesn’t do what is advertised"
This app is complete rubbish. The only thing it does successfully is to turn the robot on and off but that’s only when you can get it to connect. Every time you start the app you have to close it completely and open it a second time to get past the “cloud down” error message. The mode changes don’t appear to make any difference to the function of the cleaner apart from the option to lengthen the cycle time. The manual mode is incredibly frustrating and unusable. The “lift out” mode doesn’t work either. All together awful.
