## MyDriveHero Reviews in Australia

### **--- "Awesome app but with outdated maps"
The app is an awesome idea. Keeping people under the speed limit while earning something in return. Love the idea.

However, the map speed limits are from 2001 which is incorrect and you lose lots of credit towards your driving even though you’re under the speed limit.

A great example is the on the M5 the speed limit was increased to 100kmh but the app thinks you’re speeding above 80kmh.

Another one is the Hume Highway works that been completed near Camden and now the speed limit is 110kmh while the app is penalising you for speeding above 80kmh.

Hope that gets fixed in the next update.

### **--- "Very fluky speed detection accuracy"
I have been using the app for a couple of months and my observation is that for suburban areas the accuracy is quite good. But when I venture onto the rural highways the speed detection accuracy loses all credibility. Even when I watch my speed like a hawk its sends me to the 20% report. I have assessed this over many hundreds of country miles and its accuracy is woeful over and over again. I have lost all faith in its accuracy in the country areas.

### *---- "Absolute rubbish"
I have been a licensed Driving Instructor since 1981. I have not been booked for the last 35 years. In my current position I drive a New South Wales health motor vehicle that is logged with GPS tracking so that I cannot speed. This stupid app tells me that I do anything up to 47 km/h above the speed limit. Do not purchase it. It is a tort!
-- Carbusboy, 2024-12-23

### ***** "Great app"
Great app to get you to drive more safely. Trips are quite accurate, and even takes into account speed limits in car parks. The safer you drive the more $ you can bank!
-- Joshie2296, 2024-12-22

### *---- "Totally not worth it"
Waste of money and time. App developers get all the revenue from ads and we end up with cents. Signing up for subscriptions takes all the amount at one go and then no refund on early cancellation. Kinda feels like a scam.
-- Jeydha, 2024-12-22

### ***** "JacobDW"
Awesome app to promote safer driving
-- JacobDWells, 2024-12-22

### ***** "Drive safe and cash in"
I used to rush and go fast often but not anymore as I became the premium member of my drive hero, I started driving safe within the limit and stopped answering phone calls. This gives me more coins to collect in each trips.
However, the limitations on cash withdrawals per month is not a positive feeling. If I knew about it, I would not have been premium member. I hope the company with remove it soon.

### *---- "Speed tracking inaccurate"
Speed tracking is heavily inaccurate. No leniency when entering a highway and zero support!
-- gundymate, 2024-12-19

### *---- "Not Accurate"
1. Ads don’t load properly so you have to watch the ad 6-7 times before it will let you bank the trip
2. Had my cruise control set for a 65km long drive and it only paid me out $0.02 saying I was speeding?
3. Counts train trips as car drives, but I will be on my phone that entire train ride and it will give me 100% for distraction, but mark me down for speed
Waste of time.
-- BiscuitG93, 2024-12-16

### ***** "Newbie hero"
I forgot I had the app turned on because I only downloaded it today and joined the premium group. It has me at 100% for 2 of my drives and 21% for the other. I was just over the speed limit for a slight moment. This is definitely going to be a memory jogger in future. I want 100% scores hahaha. I love this app so far
