When I am trying to enter, it shows me a plate/notification with this text: "Sorry, we can't connect to the Dyson network We're working on a solution. Please check your internet connection and try again." *neither mobile internet, nor WIFI works😅 I even tried to use VPN to set an USA region (in reviews, some people write that the program works perfectly only in USA)😅
I use the app every day, but since you removed the swiping feature its a right pain. I see im not alone with all the other reviews recently. Please add this feature back.
They took away the swipe to move between machines and then I replace it with like 500 clicks to get the machine that you want to get to. This is a terrible user experience. Please roll it back.
Dyson for a few years could not get filters for over a year then when you could they put them up by near £30 just had update on the app and now the app will not connect to the machine won’t be buying anything of Dyson again
I consider myself to be fairly IT savvy, but resetting this machine after a move was a pain in the neck.
I loved swiping to different machines to turn fans on ect but now I’ve got to go back and open each machine separately! Please bring back the swipe 👍🏻
The primarily purpose for using this app is to control and manage my existing appliances. NOT to shop.
Thank you so much for adding a Shop tab (which absolutely overtook the app from the device controls) instead of adding something useful like Homekit support. I hope the product team responsible for this reads this review and feels ashamed. Good design needs discipline. You can’t just turn a daily used product into a shop because you thought that would boost your sales and that the metrics would look good on your personal yearly performance review. TLDR; they turned the app into a shop which no one asked for, instead of implementing things everyone’s asking for for ages.
Dyson support, this new app design (updated 28-Mar-2025) is horrible. The ability to swipe left / right between devices is gone, now we have to switch via a tedious front menu. Plus the new buttons at bottom make it easily to accidentally open the Shop - which the cynic in me suspects was the main point of the update. Please bring back the ability (maybe as an option, if others don’t like it) to simply swipe between devices
The humidity/ air purifier does so much more than I even thought it would do . It gives you all the stats , what the main polluter was if you had any etc. It’s not cheap but so so worth it . My eyes are no longer so dry and my allergies have gone down substantially.
