Until the last update it did what it said on the tin. A bit disappointing that you cannot communicate with you friends. The recent update means I cannot see any courses except on the drop down list which seems to have a range of 13k. I cannot see my home course in Newbury as I live in Reading, so more than 13k away. I cannot see Wentworth! A quick update to sort this please.
App does not recognise courses outside of the country. Also does not cover all local courses like the London Airlinks Course.
This is the most frustrating app of any kind that I have used. I like the general concept of it but the constant need to get a signal in the middle of the countryside to avoid scrolling through the entire course to add a score for one hole is infuriating. How hard can it be to have an offline mode? Avoid it.
Please please please could you stop the app reloading every time it opens? It’s so annoying when inputting scores during a round as it takes an age to load, especially when the signal is bad. Please consider making this change.
1. Terrible navigation - hire a designer for a day! 2. Logs you out during a round 3. Frustrating to use. 4. Jumps out of the scoring screen to the main page in between holes. I use dozens of apps per week. This is the worst. I only use it because I have to. Shocking. Hoping Apple allows zero star reviews soon.
Issues with the current app for me: 1. Unable to search and find players in other home nations that I am playing with, so can’t add them to attest a score, or attest scores for them. I was playing a round in England, with 3 Welsh registered players and was the only player that couldn’t put a card in. 2. App loses connectivity regularly during the round, which doesn’t help entering scores as you are playing as the app resets.
The PCC figure seems to have disappeared.
Been playing a few years and recently started taking it a little more serious, was told by a few people I play with to use this app for my handicap but it’s terrible, hard to use and more difficult to navigate than an old A-Z map. Hoping to find another way as this is a waste of time. Not sure how they made something so bad.
Awful app not user friendly, frustrating to use and submit scores. A real shame when it is a good idea
Log you out constantly, everytime open app wants internet access or crashes. Very very poor given we have to use it
