The water heater and app work as expected and the app provides additional convenience & functionality. I am about to catch a flight home and I just took my water heater off of vacation mode while at the airport. I also turned vacation mode on on my way out of town. Again, I don’t understand these other negative reviews claiming to be tech savvy yet unable to understand the default 5 Minutes is for Cutting off hot water Use for 5 minutes in the event you have someone over using the water and you wanted to cut off the hot water on demand and you HAVE TO PUSH A BOTTOM TO ACTIVATE THAT FEATURE.. so.. maybe read the provided literature if needed. I personally have been loving having fresh hot Water that has not been sitting in a tank collecting scale and who knows what else as well as being able to remotely put my water heater in and out of Vacation mode to conserve energy. Time will tell as to longevity but I have not once ran out of hot water. -- Footy fanatic 02, 2025-08-29 ### *---- "FORCED TO TAKE COLD SHOWERS" My father in law was conned into buying one of these things cause the plumber told him that “he would never run out of water” Any time my family is visiting him the water runs out if you even think about taking a shower. So being somewhat savvy with computers I tried to check out the touch screen. Might as well be looking at hieroglyphs. So I went on YouTube to find out how it works. NOT one demonstration video about this thing. Then the website… NOTHING. Everything I read was self idolizing. Smart, modern, intelligent, built overseas, the future, beautiful… blah blah blah. Tell me how to make the tankless water heater provide ENDLESS hot water. Finally I read the manual online. This thing limits the OWNER and starts lowering the temperature automatically after some time. And only AFTER the water is turned off for 5 minutes can one once more enjoy hot water. On the app the lowest time one can set is 1 min. On the water heater you can turn the feature OFF… but beware you loose WiFi signal it will go back to the 5 minute default. Excuse me. The default should be infinite hot water. UNLESS the user wanted to save electricity. What is the point of a Tankless Water Heater if it behaves just like a Tanked water heater? Save yourself money. Return this thing, get a refund and go to Your Hardware store and buy yourself a 200 gallon water heater. It will cost you 1/10th of the cost of this fancy piece of plastic. -- LostFilms, 2025-02-22 ### *---- "Doesn’t even connect" IF you get it to connect, it will tell you it can’t connect to WiFi. -- vbowers, 2024-11-29 ### ***** "Awesome app" The app helps me get my teenager out of the shower I can turn on the cold shower mode and have them out in a minute! No more wasting hot water! No more hour long showers -- Plumbguru765, 2024-09-19 ### *---- "Truly horrible" The app does practically nothing for you - no data usage information, no easy ability to optimize settings, and clunky as heck. The company should be embarrassed. -- SteviusMaximusChiTown, 2024-03-27 ### *---- "No notifications" I haven’t had any notifications of alarm codes or updates available since I started using this app April 2023. I have to manually check the app every week. The only notification I have had was update completed after I manually had to check for that update yesterday. Please fix this and thank you! -- Foreverjamtoday, 2023-11-07 [View all MyEssency reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to MyEssency - [DROP Connect](https://apptail.io/app/drop-connect-ajN/united-states) - [NaviLink](https://apptail.io/app/navilink-zcU/united-states) - [Navien Multikit](https://apptail.io/app/navien-multikit-Olvb/united-states) - [StreamLabs](https://apptail.io/app/streamlabs-tWdd/united-states) - [Bonita Bay Assoc](https://apptail.io/app/bonita-bay-assoc-gOed/united-states) - [Legacy View](https://apptail.io/app/legacy-view-fOSd/united-states) - [Pelican Bay Foundation-Members](https://apptail.io/app/pelican-bay-foundation-members-Uobo/united-states) - [Myrtle Beach Golf Passport](https://apptail.io/app/myrtle-beach-golf-passport-atlo/united-states) - [EZ Start Plus](https://apptail.io/app/ez-start-plus-YXWt/united-states) - [Happy Home by Hiller](https://apptail.io/app/happy-home-by-hiller-vhiv/united-states) ## MyEssency Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/myessency-Mlxj/united-states) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/myessency-Mlxj/france) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/myessency-Mlxj/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
