Before the app updated recently I found it much better, now the calendar is hard to read, follow and manage.
I was getting a little frustrated with the user interface anyway (it was difficult to reschedule period days and log data) but with the new update I’m just giving up- the graphics of the calendar are so cluttered and non-intuitive, it’s hard to see what day it currently is, let alone what day your period is due. Shame because I liked the concept of tracking each phase, but unfortunately the user experience is just not good. Switching to another app now.
I paid for this app and had it for less than a day before it broke. I’ve deleted and redownloaded multiple times but it just continues saying ‘checking for updates’. App hasn’t been updated in 2 years which is probably the issue. Nice concept, bad app.
Started off well, gave me control over syncing my life with my period but after just one month it stopped allowing me to add symptoms and recorded my dates incorrectly. I reinstalled it and started again but again within a short time the app had stopped recording my symptoms and actually started giving me incorrect advice re the phases of my period- this added to my stress and stopped me from relying on my own intuition. I’m so disappointed because I could really use some help tracking my period so I can adapt my lifestyle to the phase I’m in- I’m delighted to have discovered this concept but will have to go elsewhere for support.
I went from tracking my cycle in a diary to using this app based on a recommendation. Initially I thought it was great. I loved the recommendations by cycle stage. But now, I’m fed up. Rescheduling your period is unnecessarily complex and now the app won’t even open. It just constantly says “checking for updates”. This has happened three times now. I have had to delete and reinstall. The first time I lost all of my data. The app hasn’t been updated on the App Store for a year, so why it’s checking for non-existent updates is beyond me.
Not sure if it’s caused by the newest update, but I’m not able to add symptoms anymore. I tap the + sign, as I normally would, and nothing is happening. Can’t even select past days. Please, fix it!
I no longer like this app. It’s complicated and frustrating. I miss the simplicity before it updated. Looking elsewhere.
You cannot add in different menstrual times manually. This causes the tracking to be terrible for people who do not have a regular period. I don’t have a time between periods that’s set. It’s between 35 and 56 days with my menstrual staying for 7-12 days. There is not ability for change on this app
I love this app, I love this book, i love all that Alisa Vitti puts out there for us women! But the AI use in the premium version was extremely disappointing. Not only was it obvious and bad, but I would prefer to support an app that isn’t perpetuating the replacement of the workforce with AI. I discontinued my premium membership for this reason.
My Flo is one of those apps I kept on my phone even if I used it really minimally. I recently tried the new update and it has become confusing to navigate and not super helpful anymore. Bummed by the direction they decided to take the app. Removing a star because after I left this review I got a notice that the app had revoked my sign-in privileges. Which is fine as I have already deleted it.
