## MyGlasgow Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Why bother ?"
The app is merely to spare Council staff from ever having to deal direct with the public. In the west end of Glasgow there have been missed bin collections more or less every week and much recycling has to go in the green bins. I have reported this about 20 times per the app and have never had any excuse let alone justification. It is patently used to keep tax paying citizens at arms length.
-- GMackie2, 2024-12-13

### *---- "Mapping software for reporting potholes is terrible"
Mapping software for reporting potholes is terrible they seriously need to sort this out. If you search an address it just drops pin at your location even if it is no where near. If you try drag and drop the pin if you zoom out to far the pin disappears or if you drag it more than one or 2 stops it disappears.
Even when you can final get the pin to drop where you want it, it will have the incorrect address or location. It’s if GCC don’t want you to report faults
-- Foxtrotoscar 69, 2024-11-23

### *---- "Was this a school project?"
Up there with the worst apps I have ever seen. All the pages within the app are just hyperlinks to the Glasgow city council website (which all require separate logins outside the app) - what is the point??

Seriously hope it wasn’t expensive.
-- craigeyjay, 2024-11-15

### *---- "Very limited functionality"
The interface is easy enough to use however there is very limited functionality, all the widgets I have used just serve as a link to the GCC website where you have to log in again to do what you need to do. Hope they didn’t pay the developer too much for this because it’s essentially an app for the sake of having an app.
-- kayak giraffe pancreas, 2024-11-12

### *---- "Missed bin uplift"
Terrible seems designed specifically for you to give up rather than be able to report a missed bin uplift. Also can’t report our missed grey bin as it’s not even in the bin uplift calendar. Several trip to Dawsholm again this week then.
-- Frust7ed!, 2024-10-22

### *---- "Virtually unusable"
A cheap lazy reskinning of the site. My gov is virtually useless and yoti is worse. Set up a passkey for’easy’ login. Doesn’t work either.
-- Bjk1973*, 2024-10-07

### *---- "Unusable"
Title says it all really. You went from a far from perfect app which was af least fairly usable to this which redirects to a website with a complex log in process which usually doesn’t work anyway. Absolute disaster.
-- Anne0965, 2024-10-06

### *---- "App not working"
In the recent past I would have given 5 stars and encouraged others to use it, but now I can’t get passed the picture of graffiti function at all??

Sent an email to the suggested web master but never got a reply or call.

Can you suggest another way of contacting the team responsible that will actually reply?
-- Glasgow responsible citizen, 2024-10-06

### *---- "Pathetic"
You have to set up an account to use this App. You can then do very little and most menu options take you to the Council Website where you have to log in with a Completely Different account to do anything. Absolutely pointless
-- Dihebrjdb, 2024-10-03

### *---- "A step backward"
The app is now almost unusable, previously it was ok, stop asking me to sign in, no longer user friendly
-- lover girlie, 2024-09-03
