The app was originally tested and used in a joint research study with the University of Calgary (U of C) and the Canadian Celiac Association. Results were published in Sage Journals, February 2020, and indicated participants reported improved mental health (lower levels of depression or anxiety) and quality of life.

A smart collaboration by two researchers at the University of Calgary, including a health psychology researcher with celiac disease; a registered dietitian specializing in digestive health; and spearheaded by KORE Digital Health Therapeutics (owned by a Holistic Nutritionist). The team has grown, offering additional expertise from gut health experts, including: a PHd researcher who specializes in the microbiome, a gastroenterologist and Registered Dietitians focused expanding the content and therapeutic programs to address IBD, IBS, and other digestive health issues.

To "unlock" the celiac and gluten-intolerant content it will cost you $5.49 Cdn. The basic app also only comes with one day of meal ideas.

UPDATED REVIEW August 17, 2019:
New version of app requires registering to try the free 7-day trial.  As I do not wish to provide any information solely to check out an app, I can not comment on whether the updated app offers more than one day of meal ideas, or if the celiac/GF content costs more still.  The app description now talks about a monthly or yearly subscription.
