For this we have created the MyHICH iPhone and iPad app, the app enables Home owners and Professional Surveyors to carry out home surveys remotely, by using the app to send images and details describing any potential defects or faults that require single element identification to confirm the dominant cause of break down and repair specifications required. There will be no necessity for a site visit, clients can upload images and descriptions at their leisure relating to any external or internal defects, these will be assessed and evaluated by our panel of desktop qualified building engineers, who will confirm the cause of break down and any rectification works required. A fully qualified report will then be generated and delivered to the client’s email address in pdf format based on the information provided outlining the defect type and any repair works required inclusive of material and contractor guidance costs relating to any potential defects found. Benefits Of Using The Self-Assessment Survey App - The app is free to download from the app store to any iPhone or iPad device. - Qualified reports are generated and forwarded at a fraction of the cost usually associated with conventional building survey reports. - The app can be used to carry out the following survey types: - Building’s Insurance Claim Inspection Reports - Structural Building Survey Inspection Reports - Schedule of Condition Survey Inspection Reports - New Build Snagging Survey Inspection Reports - Roof Survey Inspection Reports - The completed survey will also flag up any issues that may prejudice your Buildings Insurance Policy as per the Chartered Institute and NHBC Regulation Guidelines with links guidance on making a claim or selecting an insurer and policy that right for the property type. - Self-Assessment clients will have access to our Trusted Contractor Service, FREE of charge, to source local qualified traders within any chosen postcode area throughout the UK. - The whole process can be done through the web without the requirement of a site visit. - All data will be reviewed by a panel of experts and processed within 72 hours from receipt. ## MyHICH Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/af/9e/0b/af9e0b02-d58d-3950-f47e-f94429dd1a48/d014c8ef-096f-46f0-80c7-516eb0343063_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPad_Pro__U002812.9-inch_U0029__U00282nd_generation_U0029_-_2020-06-26_at_21.12.31.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b5/35/1a/b5351a6d-f6f7-7260-a971-da1c4025fbbc/d673613b-145e-4141-a476-b3c1ab37f1d2_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPad_Pro__U002812.9-inch_U0029__U00282nd_generation_U0029_-_2020-06-26_at_21.00.37.png/2048x2732.png) ## MyHICH Rating Breakdown in United Kingdom - 5 stars: 6 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## MyHICH Reviews in United Kingdom ### ***** "Excellent App" Used this app for nearly 5 years and it’s a great tool. Excellent support from Phil and the office staff too. Highly recommended. Chris, Cardiff 👍 -- Chris M Caerphilly, 2025-05-29 ### ***** "Fantastic app and service" I have used this app for structural surveys on a few occasions now and I have to say it is brilliant. It is easy to use and navigate. The results and reports are excellent and the best bit about it is that it saved me approximately £500 per survey than a RICS level 3 survey for the same amount of detail -- Cgsc1954, 2025-01-20 ### ***** "Great App!" I use this app on a regular basis and find it very easy to use. The app is well presented and data input into the app is very straightforward and provides a high quality final report. -- Surveyor007, 2025-01-20 ### ***** "Surveys" A fantastically easy and cost effective way to obtain an unbiased survey!
