Description

Designed by a photographer for photographers, focused on RELIABILITY and PRECISION for digital and analog photography.

• Extended sensitivity as low as -2/-4EV (dark scenes)

• Two different convenient interface designs.

• Incident and reflected light metering modes.

• Save exposure data.

• f/Tools connection.

• Independent calibration for the two metering modes.

• Independent selection of aperture, speed, ISO and exposure compensation with 1/3 resolution. From 4 minutes to 1/8000 sec., aperture from 1.0 to 512 and iso from 3 to 6400.

• Automatic priority for aperture or speed. (Automatic Av and Tv modes).

• Automatic ISO or locked ISO options.

• Point metering in camera view.

• Maximum aperture limited by the selected lens.

• Calculate the average of any number of measurements you want.

• Read the exposure data of any photo from the gallery.

• Calculate hyperfocal distance for 5 memorized lenses. Which also blocks maximum aperture.

• Memory for 5 lenses with maximum aperture, focal length and film/sensor size for calculating hyperfocal distance and aperture.

• Hyperfocal distance also for infrared light. (IR button)

• Exposure value EV on an analog scale or right up front.

• Two LED indicators show whether the measurement is unreliable due to lack of light in the scene, or if we have under 30% battery left.

• On 3.5 " displays preset lens buttons tilting the device or tapping at the bottom.

• Be advised that accurate incident light reading needs a diffuser attached to the front camera. Without the diffuser still can be used but think about it, it will be a reflected reading taken with the front camera.

Great light meter.

Does the job, easy to use, useful features.

Love this app

Just bought a Soviet era camera and this app is invaluable. Just one tiny issue. The default setting is aperture priority which gives me a further one handed operation to complete. Can the default be changed to shutter speed priority?

Wonderful tool!

Just found this app: love it! The graphics are really cool, and it measures up well against my trusty Weston Master 3. The hyper focal guide looks to be useful too - never had much faith in the marks on the lens. Two slight drawbacks. Incorporating a colour temperature meter would be useful (I currently use another light meter app which is not so good, and being free has animated ads all over the place). But it does give a colour temp reading which is occasionally useful. The other is the spot reading frame which is too big to really be a spot meter. I know, who uses the Zone system now, but the principles can still be useful. But a great app, and well worth the price!

App icon become blank (May 2021)

5 star but the app icon picture is now a blank icon with a sort of grid pattern on. Using iPad Air 3 with IOS 12.4.1. I need some old apps so cannot update IOS version.

Aperture shift

When saving presets, why does the aperture not stay as set in the custom tabs, my Rollei aperture f22, my Olympus O-M1 is f16.

Very Poor

Works well

Tested against two DSLR cameras and this app is accurate with the same readings as the DSLR cameras.

Well worth it.

I’ve tried a few light meter apps. The interface and features here just gelled with me. The traditional look plus all the options and extra features Male this far more than just a light meter. My favourite feature is the presets where you can set focal length, Max aperture and frame size. Great if you use film in different formats. You can even set it for a Polaroid if you have a Mint version with manual control.

Great App

I’m sure, like me, this will be the only meter you’ll need. It’s fully comprehensive but easy to use. Buy it now!!
