The sync abilities, especially the ability to remote start, unlock, and find by gps from the app was one of the unique selling points I considered before buying. I did not purchase the remote start key fob because of this reason. Now, that ability has recently been taken away with no warning. For the same features I’ve had for 3 years now, 2021-2024, I am supposed to pay for a $10/month subscription. Best use was lock/unlock and maintenance reminders. I mean I can do that without the app it was convenient from phone but not worth a subscription. Maybe if it included music streaming and a working integrated nav system. It’s funny that the dealership never could get the onboard nav system to work and said just use my phone. Plus it takes a long time to update on status of the car. My wife has a new Hyundai and their app is far superior with much more control of the vehicle. Then the recalls started and after having my car for 4 days I can no Longer use remote climate control . I keep trying to calm and just sit on hold.
