The myMerlin™ app securely and proactively transmits information per a schedule set by your doctor. The app’s intuitive user-friendly interface allows you to record symptomatic events, view past and upcoming transmissions and helps you stay connected with your doctor. This makes it easier for your healthcare provider to obtain information about your heart’s rhythm. Some ICM device models include the ability for the device monitoring settings to be updated remotely by a healthcare provider. This app will only function once paired with an Abbott Insertable Cardiac Monitor, an implantable device available via prescription only. It’s been almost a year since one of you developers spoke with me on the phone about this issue. I’m used to closing all apps and I’ll do this one by accident. But Even though I have my phone in silent mode, the darn app continues to play the startup chime EVERY TIME I start it, and it seems at full volume. It’s very annoying and it should not be doing this. Come on Abbott turn it off!! What human factors person did you use to review this app? The responses to all our critical reviews are all identical. “We like to more know more about your experience…”. We told you what the problem is why are you not listening. Please bring development back on shore where you listen. Also, when it logs events and shows that it sent data to the monitoring site, it should also tell you how many events it detected, otherwise I have to wait for my doctors office. The app is in my body. Wake up this morning to see it doesn’t show connected and asking me to pair it. We did this in the office yesterday and now asking me for a DM code that I do not have. It’s 2024, technology should be at its best not failing in healthcare.
