The myMerlin™ app securely and proactively transmits information per a schedule set by your doctor. The app’s intuitive user-friendly interface allows you to record symptomatic events, view past and upcoming transmissions and helps you stay connected with your doctor. This makes it easier for your healthcare provider to obtain information about your heart’s rhythm. Some ICM device models include the ability for the device monitoring settings to be updated remotely by a healthcare provider. This app will only function once paired with an Abbott Insertable Cardiac Monitor, an implantable device available via prescription only. Mon moniteur a été installé fin janvier 2024 . Tout allait bien au début mais malheureusement il ne se met plus à jour automatiquement . Je dois tous les jours le mettre à jour manuellement. Malgré l’intervention à deux reprises d’une technicienne d’Abbot cela n’a pas réglé le problème . J’ai dû réinstaller à deux reprises l’application mais ça n’a rien réglé. Toutes mes autres applications Bluetooth fonctionnent très bien et malgré qu’elles sont désactivées comme le demande l’application , le moniteur Mymerlin ne fonctionne pas automatiquement . -- Patient méticuleux, 2024-08-04 ### *---- "Newest update leaves app unreliable." This os the message that displays everyday. There is no way of knowing if the app is working. There are many missing symptoms like chest pain. Also would be nice if the event recorder went faster. How in the world can an Implantable Cardiac Monitor’s controlling App be full of bugs, when it’s supposed to be monitoring your Cardiac functions? Twice recently I’ve pressed the Event recording. It seemingly didn’t record since it does not show in the All. Also, twice in couple of days, the device monitor has not connected to my App on my iPhone 11ProMax at 2am, citing a connection issue. The App is unreliable and should a absolutely NOT be unreliable! The previous user rating suggested a delete and reinstall. Did that reinstallation actually work? Lastly, why is there no Apple Watch App? One would think it might make more sense to be able to use it to a an Apple Watch in order to press the “record event” rather than having to hunt down your mobile phone (to report the event) right away?! It is supposed to connect via Bluetooth overnight when I am within range (which I am) and gather/send the data from my heart monitor to the doctor’s office automatically but never does. I have to push it manually. Once in a while updates happen and nothing works, even manually. Then you have to uninstall and reinstall and pray that fixes it.
