## myMerlin™ - EU Description
The Abbott Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) is a slim profile device which continuously monitors your heart rhythm and automatically records events of interest as configured by your doctor. The myMerlin™ app securely and proactively transmits information per a schedule set by your doctor. The app’s intuitive user-friendly interface allows you to record symptomatic events, view past and upcoming transmissions and helps you stay connected with your doctor. This makes it easier for your healthcare provider to obtain information about your heart’s rhythm. Some ICM device models include the ability for the device monitoring settings to be updated remotely by a healthcare provider.
This app will only function once paired with an Abbott Insertable Cardiac Monitor, an implantable device available via prescription only.

Constant notifications to switch on Bluetooth settings even though they’re on and daily notifications that transmissions not sent. Wish I’d have opted for the other device, no-one knows why it’s happening.

### *---- "Doesn’t work as it will never connect"
This doesn’t work!! It’s a heart app! So very important that it works. It always says can’t connect to app at the time and sometime after about 4 attempts it finally records but by then it’s missed the episode. My husband tried to re-pair the app with my device and it’s locked me out!!

My 16 year old son was fitted the merlin loop after having multiple collapses. However I find it all pretty useless as he’s too unwell to open his app in his phone when he has a turn. Also when it’s on your phone and you’re playing sports you can’t have that phone on you, so when he collapses he hasn’t got it close by. It should be possible on an Apple Watch or to have a separate device that you can press. Find it very disappointing

Hello, I’ve just had the Heart Loop fitted and am using it via my iPhone. What would be a great idea/development is to get it on my iPhone. Not technical but wouldn’t thing the was much more to achieve this. Thanks

### ****- "Updated app today"
I have been using the app since I had the implant in February 2022. Recently I had a recall to hospital to discuss the situation and it was confirmed that my AF is permanent and will require treatment. I had few symptoms to record but the unit did it all. My only gripe with this new app version is that the history doesn’t show my recordings only that an automatic check had been completed. Can I have my history back please?

I had my procedure earlier today and I’ve not been able to log in, it’s saying registration not found. I will call tomorrow to try and fix but the demo looks good and clever technology. Rating 5 starts so I do not knock the score unfairly. 
I hope we can get it up and running.

This has worked fine since I got my implantable loop recorder in September 2019. Now when I open the app it just displays a page stating that the app needs to be upgraded but there is no upgrade available on the App Store. I’ve emailed the company but have had no reply.

Had my implant loop recorder since 5th Nov 2019, the app worked perfectly and very easy to use until today where it is asking me to visit the app store and upgrade the app, but isn’t giving me an option to upgrade? And the last update on the app is a year ago no current one?
