With MyMountSinai, you can:
• Find and schedule or manage appointments with new or existing providers
• Access virtual care including virtual urgent care, virtual primary care, and message only care
• Check in for appointments
• Start a video visit
• Check your symptoms and find care based on your symptoms
• Find in person urgent care
• View your medical records and lab and test results
• Send a message to your provider
• Request prescription refills
• View next steps after a visit
• Find your way around select hospitals
• Receive e-mail and/or text messages alerts when you have new messages or results in your account
• Pay a bill using Apple Pay

### ***-- "Completed Bloodwork Posting Delays in MyChart Causing Unnecessary Problems"
Twice I have made and shown up for appointments for lab work “requests” that appear in my chart only to find out that they weren’t new requests but completed ones that were never updated as completed. Even after calling the service to try and confirm if this was a current request, subsequently making an appointment, did I not find out until going in person that it wasn’t necessary. Once again I wasted a part of a day. In house lab work should be posted as completed in a patients portal immediately and clearly indicated as such! If a patient is expected to use the portal it should be accurate! All parties, including the patient, staff, scheduling service shouldn’t have to dig for information to determine if labs have been completed. Fix it.

If you have a scheduled appointment for a CT W/WO contrast and it’s scheduled at Mt. Sinai Radiology for early in the morning at 7:30 am and you’re there on time in most cases you will be completed and out of there within an hour and a half.
