WHAT PEOPLE USE IT FOR

There are thousands of reasons why you'd need to immerse yourself in an ambient sound you crafted yourself. Here are the most frequent ones:

### ***** "Best bar none. Completely underrated."
This app is unparalleled. One of the best noise apps out there and I’ve tried a lot. For $20 it is one of the best purchases you can make. Not only is the quality there in sound and selection but for app design and functionality and more importantly the lack of a subscription based service. The team did an outstanding job with this and it is one of my nightly drivers I pair with Portal and A Soft Murmur [and sometimes the White Noise app which I also recommend]. Outstanding work. $20 is a steal. 

I would love to blend multiple soundscapes at a time though. That would be my only addition I’d like to see. Hopefully we can see that in the future like the old app allowed from what I’ve read.

### ***** "Great App, Used It For Years"
I’ve been using myNoise for years to help me sleep and focus. Excellent app.

However I do miss the ability to do the multis from the old app, allowing for multiple soundscapes to be played at once. That’s the one thing stopping me from fully swapping over to this version.

### ***** "Update Glitch?"
Update: After deleting soundscapes and downloading them again the problem went away. Love this app and these people, they make my life a calmer place. 
The recent update resulted in the sounds in My Library being unplayable on the app. Click on them and it just brings back the same window without opening the sounds I want to hear. Hopefully another update will come along soon.

### ***** "A must get! Improvement on old app; no sound combining yet"
I’ve been using myNoise on my iPad for years, mostly via the older app, some via the website. myNoise helps me greatly with insomnia, stress, and tinnitus, transports me from my limited surroundings, and brings me much happiness.

The new app has a much more attractive, intuitive, and efficient interface. And it still does not sell our data. Hurray! Thank you! 🙏

I rave about myNoise every chance I get, and I always highlight 2 things: the huge library of incredibly skillful, beautiful, and varied recordings; and the ability to mix sounds into new soundscapes. The new app includes the complete selection of recordings, but I am eagerly awaiting the track combining feature. I need a purring kitty beside my roaring fireplace, after all!

I have a feature request. Please give us a way to export even just a simple text list of our downloaded and favorited soundscapes, so that if we lose that information due to getting a new device, we can recreate them. I have grieved losing all of them when I got a new iPad. I guess I could take screenshots. I should probably do that as a precaution. But a feature to make this easier would be welcomed! (Update: I just got word that the team will be looking into something to address this!)

I recommend to all myNoise users to read the app and website information thoroughly, and explore what you can do. There are lots of details that are not immediately obvious.

Kudos to developer Stéphane and his helpers. What an amazing labor of love, that truly makes so many lives better.

I have being using myNoise for many years and its helped me sleep well at night, focus on my studies, relax on hard days, and so much more. I have over the years tried a lot of different noise apps including searching on YouTube. Nothing comes close to the selection, quality,  and control over the sounds that this app gives. I’m an android user and I have an iPad and I’ve bought the lifetime access on both devices. I’ve donated a few times over the years as well just because this is so amazing! Don’t wait just get  it!

### ***** "Zoning In"
myNoise is the most reliable tool I have for getting into The Zone™. If I’m doing creative work (drawing, coding, writing) or just reading, I’m probably listening to myNoise. (I’m listening now, writing this review!)

The app’s neatest feature is that every soundscape is itself a creative playground — with lots of additional soundscapes hidden inside, so you can tailor the sliders to fit the feeling that works best for you. For me, I tend to like combinations that emphasize bass and pads.

I’ve been a myNoise supporter for years — there’s noting else like it. And I’m excited about this modernized, thoughtfully-designed iOS app. I hope that it signals a long life ahead for one of my favorite creative tools.

Not only does multi not exist (is it coming back?) but you have to buy “lifetime” again with this new app. Love your work so no worries giving you more money but be honest about what you are selling. Please fill the feature gap here and stop playing games with how you charge!
