On the plus side the RAC patrol man was very pleasant snd professional and I couldn’t fault him at all. -- Jag lovers, 2025-01-02 ### *---- "Motability left stranded over 4 hrs" After breaking down on the M66 motorway in torrential rain at 3am in the dark, we were left stranded on the hard shoulder by the RAC for 4 hours. For a motability client at that time and in such dangerous conditions is an absolute disgrace and totally unacceptable. Thank you but after you did a very quick repair we are told we can’t call you out for the same thing or we will be charged !! A the repair chap hasn’t told us what the repair problem is and B i have been a member for 40 years and called RAC out 3 times as i remember!?! So where is the loyalty factor ? If this happens again why should i pay as it means rac didn’t fix it !!!! Lastly in 1950.’s 1960’s you got a badge to display how loyal a customer we are but these days nothing ?!?! Pulls into lay-by and called RAC THEY ARRIVED IN 10 minutes and I was back on the road in another 10-15 minutes. Some repairs needed, but I can’t fault the service.
