The myRemote app enables users of dedicated hearing aids, purchased 2014 or later, to adapt these safely and conveniently to their individual requirements and to adjust and control them.
In addition, the myRemote app includes various services and functions that support or automatically take over the extended use of your hearing aids.
All features and services are subject to the following factors:
- brand, type and platform of the hearing aid
- specific functions supported by the hearing aid
- services offered by the brand or distributor
- country-specific availability of services
Basic functions of the myRemote app:
With the myRemote app the hearing aid wearer can use a smartphone to remote control the paired hearing aids. The myRemote app also offers a comfortable range of functions for simple devices in the entry-level segment, e.g.
- various listening programs
- tinnitus signal
- volume control
- sound balance
Hearing aid-dependent functions of the app:
Depending on the technical equipment of the hearing aids and depending on the default functions of the provider, the myRemote allows the following functions to be controlled, like
- directional hearing
- separate adjustment of both hearing aids
- muting the hearing aids
- volume control
- motion sensor
... as well as displaying and setting the battery charge status, warning signals, device usage and statistics for user satisfaction

It is hopeless only works now and again NHS aids have a better app that works
Could be better
The app works but the Bluetooth connectivity and sound quality is poor and little in the way of settings adjustment available.
Doesn’t work
This app opens by asking for the make of hearing aid. I use Oticon which the app doesn’t recognise. It doesn’t recognise any of the well know makes I’ve put in. Anyone know what the problem is???
Charged but not showing connected?
I have 3 beeps so know both charged…. Yes turned Bluetooth off and in. Restart?? How. Infuriating and unnecessary. Do understand HA rechargeables as have had another brand for 9 years
Frustrated
Had to uninstall the app. Now it won’t accept any brand name so I can’t get any further!!
Sound repeatedly drops
I have contacted Apple (someone said that my iPhone is too old) and hardware/software all working fine but I repeatedly lose sound in one hearing aid or sound in a conversation drops for a few seconds which is very frustrating. Specsavers have suggested that I check the app is up to date (it is and to reboot my phone) but this has not improved things. Disappointing.
Doesn’t work for me
Downloaded to iPhone 13 and only seems to show the right Advance Specsavers hearing aid on Bluetooth list connected, although both aids are working when listening to music and receiving phone calls. Unable to use any of the features of the app regarding adjustments of aids etc. So a bit of a waste of time for me.
Bluetooth connectivity
As many other reviews the Bluetooth connectivity drops out on right or left ear bud even when close to output device such as a phone
Fragile connection
When it works the app is very useful. However the Bluetooth connection is quite fragile and connection drops out even when the iPhone remains within the 10m range. Often just one side or the other looses connection.
